I recently came here because it is right next door to my house and is convenient and was initially a good price. I was able to get a full synthetic oil change for $60 which is a great price. I came back a couple months later and the price was now $80 which I’m not sure how the price could drastically change that much in 2 months. Fast forward to today I seen that they had a Groupon that seemed like a great deal. Upon arrival with the Groupon I was told that an extra $11 would be added for taxes… now does that even sound right ? I have never purchased a Groupon and then been told that extra needed to be paid for taxes upon arrival. Customer service is terrible and they were not willing to help at all with helping me get a refund. Clearly, all about the money rather than providing a good service.

This is my second time bringing my vehicle into this shop and I will continue to bring my automobiles to Ortegas Auto Repair in the future. I had the tow truck bring the SUV here. They diagnosed the water pump and serpentine belt and replaced both same day. Good price too! Car is still running great 6 months later. I would call on them again.

I had an issue with my check engine light and Ramiro and his associate fixed it right up! I had the pleasure of being serviced by Ramiro personally; he has a bit of a thicker accent so it was hard for me to understand (especially because I don't really know car lingo ha!) but I can tell he was very knowledgeable in his field. A few days later, my gears started slipping so I gave Ortega's a call. Ramiro picked up and, not only did he remember me but he was super helpful through the phone. He told me to come in as soon as I could so he could see what was wrong. I take it in to leave overnight and a day later, he calls me to tell me it is my transmission and even went the extra mile to call into places for deals on a used transmission. That was very much appreciated because he did not have to do that. Overall, Ortega's is genuine in wanting to help out with keeping your costs low as possible and the customer service is reflects that! Thanks Ramiro!!
