Waste of my time. Got to this place for an emergency 15 min before closing and "sometimes" they close early. Some guy came out before I drove off and said he couldn't sell me any cause they were close. It was 5:01 at this point. I explained to him that I've been calling and knocking on the door for 15 min. He said sorry, if I sell you any I'll get fired cause we're closed and proceeded to say sometimes they close early. Wtf

We need dry ice because our fridge broke. This place was nice enough to stay open for a few more mins to pick up dry ice!!! We were able to save our personable and survived until our fridge was fixed.

Everytime we go to get ice for any event they have friendly people waiting to help us. They even have snow ice which is amazing!

This place is awesome. Always get my ice here when having parties, going on trips or camping. Staff is great, prices are way better than super markets.

Used this company to make a sledding run for our Christmas event. DO NOT USE THEM. They arrived 3 hours later than scheduled, causing our event to have to start an entire hour late. Then the manager in charge proceeded to flat out lie about what time they actually arrived (he denies they were late), make the excuse that they didn't really know what they were doing (yes--he literally used that as a reason to justify what happened) and refuse to refund any of our money. His suggestion was to give us a $100 credit next time we use them (after we had spend over $6000 dollars). Sometimes I read a negative yelp review like this and chalk it up to a one-off negative experience, but we have actually used this company for a few years now, and none of our experiences with them have been great. They're extremely disorganized. The manager we've worked with is consistently rude and patronizing to our female employees (his name is Blaire). This year their crew was also talking negatively in Spanish about many of our staff and guests as they worked (as we watched them, because remember, they made our event start a whole hour late)....unfortunately for them, some of us speak Spanish so we knew exactly what they were saying. We only continued to use them each year out of convenience and because their prices seemed to be a little lower than other companies. But you get what you pay for and this was the final straw. We will not be using them again and you shouldn't either.

They have all kind of ice crush ice, block ice, flake ice, shaved ice they deliver open 7 days a week from 7am to 5:30 pm. Best ice in OC . And they have dry ice so if you got a party or going camping or anything you need ice for this is the spot to go too .

Never been to this place. Was refer by a friend. I call to ask for business hours and pricing. As I was talking and asking and confirming date, time and hour so I can come down on Sunday to get some shave ice because the person refer to this place said they close Sunday. Any the lady hang up on my while I was talking. Very rude. Just loss a opportunity to have a new customer.

Few things in life make me happier than having cold drinks to serve my friends and family. This place was a FIRST for me. I was looking for block ice for our party and definitely found it here! Any kind of ice you could need...one place. Plus, they were open today until 6pm!! Major score for the Memorial Day festivities. Knowing we can get dry ice here as well, will make our camping and boating trips THAT much easier. The staff stated that people even BRING their boats there, to pick up the ice before launching to the docks. Great idea!! If you're looking for clean, edible and versatile kinds of ice...look no further than Cold Star Ice in Santa Ana and it's other locations. You'll be glad you did! Thanks Cold Star!!
