Only 10 stores left in Orange County, ca About the only thing left from growing up here. If they are going to close the stores, then they should tell to us in person! I need to know if I have to harden my heart..... I'll miss them.

Its very sad this store is closing soon. Ive been shopping here for years one of my very first stator bros shopping experience was here. Over the years the staff as changed drastically many times but it was for the best most of the time. There are still some long haulers employees been there years not many. I hope they find a good place another store for those long haulers like Luis in the meat dept he is the best in the west. Thanks for your service to you oldie but goodies that stayed through the good and the bad times, I will look for you at other stator bros hopefully it will work out for the very best for you ~~

I have held off writing a review about this market because I really didn't have the time. Well, I have time today. The employees at this market from the cart collectors to management are absolutely miserable. NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE greets you, says "Hi" or welcomes you. They act like they HATE their jobs and hate YOU too.It makes me NOT want to shop there. The ONLY reason I do is because it is right next to my office.I was walking through the produce section between the freezer compartments and the older white produce guy had his cart blocking the entire aisle. I stood there for a couple of minutes before he decided he was going to stop stocking the bananas and move the cart so I pass by.HOW RUDE. He KNEW I was there and no, excuse me, no "sorry, let me move this for you." Nice.I feel they are racist at this store. ALL the store managers and dept managers are WHITE and they couldn't give 2 shits if you shop there or not. @ssholes.This is the most racist and least friendly Stater Bros I have ever been to. Shop if you ABSOLUTELY must. But I would go elsewhere if I were you.

They have a guy who is just hanging out in the back of his car with nothing but his boxers on. Once we told the staff when we were checking out they didn't seem to care about it.

Another example of pure laziness and not maintaining stores. I was not going to lift up all that nasty germs, toxins, and jeopardize my health again! This just sickens me. I walk in and you can smell nothing but a toxic environment!

Went in today and asked one of the managers if he could get me a bottle that was locked up. Not only did he not look at me when I was talking to him but he refused to assist me. Worst ever!!! Disappointed cuz I love stater bros. But never again, never! If I could put less than one star I would.

Unfortunately this is not a good review, I've been shopping at this Stater Brothers for over twenty years and have noticed in the last year or two that I almost always get something that is not fresh or it has expired! To the point I check every single thing I purchase and recently found the protein snack packs are expired, the mushrooms I bought and went to cook with were bad and smelled horrible. The meats were not wrapped properly and bled all over by the time I got home. At this time I'll find another grocery store to shop at.

We bought some chips and Powerade thinking the Powerade bottles were 59 cents each but didn't read the fine print that you needed to buy 10 otherwise they would be 89 cents (our fault). Although the transaction was complete, I decided to exchange for Gatorade instead. While my boyfriend went to grab Gatorade, our chips were near the bags area and so the bag worker, Sonia V (an older Hispanic woman), told me to grab my chips but I said to just leave them there since I was holding other things in my hands. So she grabbed them angrily and slammed them onto the next empty register. I'm sure another reason why she was mad was because the cashier, Briseida C, asked Sonia V to go check how much the Powerade was so it was probably too much work for her. Sonia V was rude and her behavior was uncalled for.

I love the convenience of this little Staters! I have seen many people complain about the parking and I hope that those folks never have to go to the costco in Garden Grove. They would weep at the parking situation. If you park as far away as you possibly can, you'll still get to the store in approx 8 mins of less. Most of the folks here are great! I have to give a special shout out to Wendy. She is a great Cashier! My younger brother has Down syndrome and is always happy to be greeted by his name. She also helps him count his change when we pay in cash. I appreciate that very much. It can get crowded but this is a reliable place to grab some groceries and fresh fruits and veggies.

Why are they giving customers lousy service with the batteries, the employee needs to get the key for the batteries that's all he has to do, come on stater bros give better service than that.

I don't know why people complain about the parking. I've always been able to easily find a spot. This is my neighborhood market. Sometimes it's a little sketchy because of panhandlers and shady-looking people, but that's part of this semi-ratchet neighborhood charm. I love the free WiFi, good selection, organized shelves and decebtvcustomer service. Look, I ain't expecting spectacular service while I buy a bunch of bananas and two apples in my PJs, so shid, That's all I can expect from an average market, so 5 stars it is!

I really like this Stater Bros. Markets. I don't care that its parking is horrible or that its average, this place wins alone on the nostalgia. I grew up around here so we always go to the shopping complex and always always shop at Staters.

So I work around the corner at the medical building, and usually stop by here at least 2-3 times a week. Needless to say, I will shop elsewhere. Everyone in the depts. are nice and friendly, but like most of the other yelp reviewers here say, the front end staff needs some basic customer service skills! They are always so rude, I have to say hi first, and the last time, was it for me. The cashier was quiet, so I said Hi to her. She looked up, almost annoyed, and says Hi. Then she said if I wanted a bag, I said yes, and the bagger, a young girl starts to cram EVERYTHING into one bag. I paid and I picked up the stuffed bag as the cashier hands me the receipt, but doesn't say anything, no "thank you, see you, nothing" ! She just stands there, her arm stretched out holding the receipt, starring at me. I juggle the bag, and my keys and as I go to get the receipt, she lets it drop, and starts to scan the next order. I leave it there, just as the bagger girl hands me my 6-pk of soda, in my hand?!!! I ask her to put it in a bag, and she says they are 10 cents, I tell her I wasn't asked HOW many bags I wanted, as she crammed everything into one, the bag weighs at least 10 lbs! I walk out, juggling everything to my car, and sure enough, drop the sodas in the parking lot. Seriously Stater Brothers, do you interview these people when you hire them? Do they need to be so dam rude? Well obviously you don't need my business nor money. I will shop elsewhere.
