Just picked up one item quickly. Checked out and was greeted by a pleasant smile and attitude. Amira checked out my purchase. What a great representative of Staples. She actually said "Thank You and have a great day!" with a cheerful smile. This is RARE this day and age. It's nice to see that simple customer service exists. Good job Amira!

I wanted to come on here to compliment the staff! Especially Elliot (they/them), who I believe is assistant store manager. I'm an avid crocheter, and was looking for all the yarn I needed for holiday gifts. They don't have the biggest selection but had everything I needed. So I had a big purchase, plus a return from an online order. Well, the women in front of me in line were being jerks, to be nice. From what I could tell they were arguing with the store manager for a good while over a few dollar difference. Well, both the manager (didn't get the name-sorry!) and Elliot handled the stress of a busy store and rude customers with grace and excellent customer service, all while being short staffed! Elliot was doing everything they could to get my return in order, send me out with my purchase and still manager their store and employees with a growing line. They managed to do that all while being so polite and respectful, despite being incredibly stressed. I appreciate the team here and I really hope this gets to someone on the team so they know their customer service is being noticed and appreciated!

I am a Veteran Today I was shopping for frames, specifically for an important document/certificate. Not only did the Manager Michelle help me out to my vehicle and help me load the frames, but she managed to find me 30 minutes later in a local Panera Bread, because I left those important documents inside the store. I had no idea. I am so great full for people like that. Excellent leadership

Always come to this store it's pleasantly clean. Never have had an issue till now. As I was getting ready to check out on Wednesday at around 6:30 pm. I over heard who I believe was the manager talking to her employees in a very rude way. Was very repulse by the way she talk to one of the employees specifically . She spoke to him in a way that no manger should talk to her employees and continued to do so in front of the customers. Other than that the rest of the employees were very friendly and respectful.

Michaels Store#5141 My name is Patrick. June 2023, I brought a picture back to your store that I had custom framed at your Santa Ana location. I was Not happy with the outcome of the way the frame looked. Salesperson Jen was working in the framing department that day. I explained how unhappy I was and she helped me to work on an alternative that would better fit my needs. What I admire most, is how professional and knowledgeable she was. Jen answered all my questions and took her time to explain quality and cost. As a result, I am pleased and very happy with my picture. I want to thank Jen and your staff for an outstanding job. I had four art pieces I wanted to frame. The store is extra busy since Costa Mesa is closed, but Jennifer in framing took time to help me and other customers without making me feel rushed or exhibiting any frustration as we picked colors for mattes, etc. I got the finished pieces last night and they look extraordinary! Jen is the best.

They have had self checkout now for awhile. It takes forever to use. The coupon is difficult to enter and you end up getting charged the regular price. I had to redo the sale multiple times and I finally gave up. The online app is now a endless circle of nonsense. This is entirely how a store goes under. You only want to shop with a coupon and get email after email that things are on sale. The reality is this has been set up to screw over the customer. Never coming back. Former loyal customer fed up with poor customer service and fraudulent coupon scam. I do not recommend this store any longer.

I dropped off a picture to be framed and have a small plaque put on it. About $165 total and it's 11 days later and still not completed. Called twice in last two days. Sorry waiting on corporate can't help. Amount of creativity and urgency to help customer non existent. Disappointing as stayed close to home to help area business when I should have known better. Big corporations are just lazy. Don't care enough. Coming by today to get full refund. Stay away from this location for specialty items

Their in-store/curbside pickup service needs serious work. I placed an order of 10 items yesterday at 11:15AM to pick up in store. The confirmation email said the order would be ready within 2 hours and I would receive both a text and an email to notify me when the order was ready. I hadn't heard anything by 3:30, so I tried to call the store and see what was going on. Wouldn't you know, this location either disconnected their number or never set it up in the first place. When I selected the "speak to a team member" option, an automated voice said "goodbye" and the line went dead. Awesome. When I drove to the store at 4PM, the order still wasn't ready and the employee had no idea what was going on. "Are the items in stock?" I asked. "If something is out of stock and that's why it hasn't been fulfilled please tell me while I'm here so I can switch it out for something else." She repeated she didn't know what was delaying my order and wasn't sure when it would be ready. I left and called the corporate number to see if THEY could tell me why the order was taking so long. The woman I spoke to put me on a short hold and when she came back on the line she said it would be ready soon. Sure enough, I got a text 10 minutes later telling me my order was ready. Gee. Thanks. By then I was already home and decided I would pick up the order today instead. At 9AM this morning, more than 12 HOURS after getting a text telling me my order was ready for pick-up, I received an e-mail from Michael's saying 3 items were out of stock and they'd be issuing a refund. So...you told me the order was ready even though items were out of stock? What a complete and utter waste of time. Horrible experience dealing with them online or over the phone...you should shop in-store ONLY, and even that I can't recommend.

I came in today Sunday 04/24/22 just going in to buy some essentials for myself and I suddenly seen the Cricut maker and asked how much did it go for blah blah blah etc.... I was helped by JACKIE. She was so good to me. Jackie answered some of my questions as best as she could, from what she knew. I was there for like an hour lol. Jackie, thank you for your help!! You're super nice, and super understanding. Thank you, Jackie.

The yarn is never stalked and when it is, they don't have the greatest selection. It's always a bummer when I come here. I would recommend Hobby Lobby across the street! They have a HUGE selection and it's always frequently stocked

This store can sometimes be a bit busy but they tend to have enough people at the register to not make the waiting in line too bad. Most of the time the store is a bit empty so I don't have to worry about waiting forever in line. They also have a lot of stuff and are stocked pretty well. Good prices on alot of the store brand items and the nicer brands are also decently priced. The store is set up a little funky but it's still fairly easy to find everything you need. The clearance section is a little sparse but it still has a decent selection of items.

Customer service is a lost art. When I walked into the store, after working a 60-hour workweek. I was exhausted. I asked a cashier if you had Christmas bells and if so where should I look. She said I don't know, look over in the Christmas area and she pointed to the right. I went over to the 6 -7 rows of Christmas stuff. Gave up looking walked back up and ask I someone could show me. Again, she said over there somewhere. Ya, know what, I told her I was sorry I was wasting her time, I'll just head over to Hobby Lobby across the street. Was in and out of Hobby Lobby in less than 5 minutes. The staff member walked me down to the item I needed, I checked out and headed home. Michaels, you have a big competition across the street, your new store is beautiful. But,k the lack of customer service, won't have me shopping her first anymore
