Zumba classes are fun and affordable. The drinks are good as well. I love that I can come in, have fun, feel good and get in a good workout in one hour. You can also tell that many others come literally every day and feel a sense of community.

I have been dropping my wife to a zumba fitness class at MD Fitness a few times and one day she took me inside the zumba studio and they have a nutrition cafe. I tried the strawberry fruit bowl and it was good. Filled me up too. My wife seems to enjoy the zumba classes, music selections and its community.

Deliciosas! Fun first-time exposure to a great in-person Zumba workout. Though I was different from everyone there in 3-4 stark ways, they let me in. Thank ClassPass for this introductory opportunity. I came in having no clue what to expect. Just wanted to try something drastically new. I noticed a chest-pump-like dance move they frequently do that's likely intended to burn belly fat. Since I'm a young skinny Asian dude, it was uncomfortable feeling my nethers bounce around rigorously for that dance move. So Zumba might not be for you if you're kinda like me. eheh~ (People outside were looking at me funny cuz I'm so different. But hey, be the change you wanna see in the world, right? If I want Mexicans to someday be enthusiastic about Vietnamese culture and genuinely showing up to Vietnamese art or health classes... It's not just about this Mex-Viet dynamic in SoCal. It's my dream for everyone across the whole world...) Their instruction style is different from all other CP's I've been to. While an instructor would usually walk around and help correct people on their improper form in other classes, in MD's Zumba class the teachers stay at the front of the room, and everyone just follows along by eye. So you just gotta visually self-guide and stay on pace yourself. Which was fine, really, cuz thankfully almost all the dance moves were easy to follow if you're decently coordinated. Silly me, I arrived 10min early. Didn't see a sign saying to wait outside. So I went in and accidentally crashed the previous class. Walked up to the counter in the back, still didn't see an attendant or a sign-in sheet. No approachable instructor in sight. So I stood around awkwardly for a min until an attendant showed up to lmk to wait outside lmao. whoops! They predominantly speak Spanish. Wish there were subtitles lmao. They also serve some health drinks/snacks, but didn't look like anyone buys. Not really for me. But overall, worth a try. You'll break a sweat for sure!
