Clean, well stocked store with emphasis on merchandise rather than presentation. This store didn't seem as attractive as other Macy's I've visited. Employees did their job.

Gift Card Users Beware Recently, I have had very negative experiences with Macy's and their lack of customer service. I used a Macy's gift card on 2/6/24 to complete an online purchase. For some unknown reason, their computer software processed the gift card, gave a system error message, and cancelled the order. Unfortunately, the amount used on the gift card was NOT refunded when the system cancelled the order. I have talked to over 10 customer service representatives who have all assued me "not to worry" "everything is handled" and "you will receive a new gift card". After 20 days, the new gift card has not been received. Three people that I have spoken to have promised to call me back to ensure that all if good; however, no one has called back and the amount has yet to be refuned. I have been told to expect a refund or new gift card within 24-28 hours, then I was told 7-10 days, then I was told up to 30 days, and finally today I was told up to 60 days. I am not convinced, based on these varying messages, that I will ever receive the refund/gift card that is owed to me. So this review is to alert gift card users to possible difficulties.

I entered Macys from the mall. I was on the second floor where there are several departments for women. I've been to second hand stores that are neater and better organized than Macy's. Most sections had a disarray of clothing. Not organized by sizes. Things were mixed together looking like a bargain basement. Clothes are on the floor. I was disgusted by the atmosphere. The lingerie area was neat and organized. But by the time I got here, I was fatigued and didn't stop to try the bras. To their credit, the restroom was clean. There are many stalls available and well maintained. The sinks were clean and soap dispenser worked. I will not return, unless to use the ladies room. .

I honestly do not write reviews too often but I wanted to give compliments to Jose, the Manager at the watches, for his great customer service. His cool and calm demeanor towards me and my wife when we were frustrated over a watch situation. I really do hope Macy's takes care of this certain Manager because he was great to work with! I will definitely be buying more watches from this location!

Christian who I guess is supposed to be a lead? Very unprofessional and HORRIBLE customer service. We had a huge issue with gift cards and it ended up having one of our gift cards blocked and we were no longer able to use it as Christian described. Wouldn't even let me mom talk as they kept interjecting and honestly didn't get anywhere with the problem until I suggested starting the transaction again. Already didn't like going into that store and now being disrespectful towards my mother who is MUCH nicer than I am, I can see why the place has so many negative reviews.

In the fragrance department, Mary was the most helpful person I came across. I was looking to buy my first Marc Jacobs perfume since I've always wanted one. She was super nice and conversational, she had the best attitude and a really nice vibe to her. She helped me pick out which I liked the most, even recommended I spray some on myself just to see how it stayed. When I told her I got paid the next day she happily said she would put one on hold for me just in case. Anyways because of how she recommend spraying some on myself, I was for sure able to pick the best one for me. She was the best and thank her for my first pick. Saw her today and she had everything ready to go already. Super sweet lady and I wish her the best. Also here's me w the Adam driver cologne bc I love him

It's the only department store here in Valencia that have Chanel, Dior, Ester Lauder etc fragrances and make up. The plus size selection have diminished greatly. A working woman in plus size cannot find any clothing available as the selection now is mostly casual wear. Macy's need to know that there are many women in Santa Clarita who works full time jobs and needing decent clothing selections. Why is it that the Northridge and Sherman Oaks Macy's have better selections? Stop stereotyping cities like Santa Clarita.

Out for some holiday shopping. Signs everywhere tout "Earn $10 for every $50 spent. I bought 2 shirts at a cost of $60 plus. But because we had them ring as two separate purchases, they couldn't give me the $10 rewards cash. Ok, understand cashier not prepared for that. So we went to Customer Service to explain and ask for the rewards cash. I'd spent the money, surely this is just a technical thing a Manager can over ride??? Manager refused to do it. I will never remember who the #$+& she was but what I WILL remember is that Macy's didn't give a shit about a Macy's card-carrying loyal customer. Couldn't be bothered to give me what the spirit of their promotion meant and therefore had pissed me off to NOT come back and spend more of my hard earned cash. Too bad, and in this economy.

No one is helpful. They're extremely understaffed and when you find someone to help they'll redirect you to another section. Terrible experience.

Tucked away on the 3rd floor behind the kitchen and bedding merchandise, sits Macy's clearance store. Think of it as Nordstrom's Rack, but not as organized and a little less fancy. We've visited a couple times and always found something fun to buy. This time it was t-shirts, the last time, it was Christmas kitchen towels. The prices were a little less than your average sale price, but enough to entice us to make a purchase. We were specifically looking for a soup pot, but they didn't have one Backstage, nor on the main store for that matter. We actually had more fun shopping this section than the main store. Partly because some of the items were so bad, no wonder they didn't sell, and frankly, that stuff is just fun to look at while thinking 'who thought someone would buy this?" It was nice that they already had some Christmas stuff available, being in the beginning of October. A few fall items were there as well, but nothing to write home about. Both visits only had one person working the counter so don't expect speedy service. They were nice though, just alone.

Spent three hours inside the store trying to problem solve with employees over the phone/in person. Left with no help & hours of my Monday wasted.
