We we're supposed to get a gasoline car they gave us an electric car not to many EV CHARGING PLACES. WE ALMOST DIDN'T MAKE IT HOME WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAD NEVER AGAIN

I’ve rented from this place at least 5 times and every time there is something with their cars not being ready. They are always claiming “we just got the car back and they are cleaning it, “car came with issues is at the mechanic “. After the first couple times you start to notice this is just running a poor operations. Moral of the story is if you rent from here be ready to wait 20-30 mins or be ready to walk without a car! Reflection of poor management. Reason why I keep coming is because so close to home!

Do not rent car from here. They do bait & switch. Even though you reserve car at certain price, they don't care that they don't have it cause when you get there they are happy to offer another for more $$. Scammers.

Process was so easyDropping off was so easy too. The only issue that they are off Sunday so you can't drop off. Other than that everything was good

Rented a small compact car online and was able to reserve and was told not available when I showed up and had to upgrade and pay 3Xs what I expected to pay for single day rental. Truck provided was not cleaned either. Really disaapointing and frustrating experience with Hertz taking advantage of my need for rental

I had just made a reservation for this location, 3 months in advance and I decided to check out the Yelp reviews. To my surprise they're all negative. I read one by one and they all have the same complaints. 1) The manager claiming to not have the vehicle that was reserved and then he tries to up charge for a bigger car even though the lot is full of the exact cars on the reservation. 2) Several people were charged cleaning fees when the car was not dirty. 3) Other reviews mention how the manager charged them for an suv but gave them a mid size car and still charged the higher amount even though they got a smaller car and then the manager will claim that the customer agreed to a smaller car for a higher price (the fact that he expects anyone to believe this is ridiculous). It's negative review after negative review with the same complaint over and over with no response from this location. No acknowledgment to do better. Due to everything I just mentioned, I went back and modified my reservation. I changed my pick up location to the one in Tustin. I've done business with them before and the manager there was very helpful and was able to give me tips/pointers on how I could save some extra cash on my reservation. My experience was great. Best experience I've had with a rental company. Also, at the Tustin location I notice some customers coming in acting entitled like the world revolves around them. Don't do that. You will get bad customer service.

So it is so pathetic that it took us 45 minutes to just return the vehicle. Only one operator running the whole show in this place. Never recommend anyone to come to this place to rent anything. Absolutely disappointed and will never come again here. On top of all the agent didn't even apologized for the wait time.

Terrible customer service. Tried to up sell me and put me in a more expensive car than I had signed up for. Rental agent told me that hertz lists cars that they don’t have available and bait and switch on people to get them to pay more. I also argued with me for almost 20 min saying every other agency does the same thing. I don’t mind paying the agreed upon price but felt like I was being taken advantage of. I haven’t had bad experiences with hertz in other places. Just seemed like the rental agent wasn’t willing to work with me.

I ubered to pick up a car as mine is in the shop. I came two hours after my car was scheduled to be ready. When i got there I was told that they actually overbooked and had meant to call me. They said unless i wanted to spend an extra 40$ a day, i was out of luck. Would avoid this Hertz like the plague.

TAKE PICTUREShertz will always upcharge you.I came in DIDNT have the car for my reservation. Charges me more , I had to wait for about 20 mins “he was getting the car ready “. Gives me a vehicle that a lady brings in during the time I’m waiting full of pet hair. Doesn’t even clean it just gave it to me how she brought it in. Also with plate pass (toll roads ) they are not on it. They will double charge you and try taking it to collections. I have a toll account and added the vehicle to it and they want to charge me for charges that were already billed to my toll accounts. This is why it’s important to take pictures and always keep your receipts. Enterprise has never gave me issues. Only reason I would book with hertz was for the 10% off with AAA but they don’t even honor the 10% and give you a headache. Not worth it rather give my money else where

This was the worst car rental I ever made in forty years of renting cars. I booked a midsize car for a week, at the time of pick up, Jessie the manager did the paper work, and told me he had to give me an electrical car instead because it is the only car he had left. Then at the signing for the payment time he told me it is going to be $12 more per day, because it is electrical. I did not like that, but I had no other option and I was out of time. Then Jessie told me the car does not have a charger, and I have to charge it using public charging stations the closest one to my house that works was 20 minutes away and was very very. I spent the rental days unable to use the car because I could not charge it enough to feel secure to drive it to work and come back.Hertz, because of its own supply problem ..made me pay far more to get far lessSham on you.

Please listen to all the other reviews. Do not come here to get your rental if you would like to have a smooth process and good day. Horrible service and the manager does not do anything to help with any problems. We made a reservation and when we arrived to pick up the car, it was not available.
