Coming here was never really that good of an experience. Security was needlessly suspicious of me every single time I went to park my bike and go inside to see Deaf Employment Services. One time they even lied about which building my helper worked in and I went to the wrong building looking for him.
Then my helper moved far enough away that he doesn’t work here anymore and his supervisor tried to do what he was doing with me. She was never a good fit for me at all. So I ultimately asked DoR to place me with another job agency. I hope Deaf Services improve here but until they do I’m not coming back.

We rented a U haul just to donate some large items here at Santa Ana goodwill. We called to confirm that they were still accepting donations and they confirmed, we arrived at 6pm and they said all the staff has gone home. We didn't need any staff to assist us because we had hired some laborers. The staff there was very unprofessional saying they close at 6pm and could not open the gate for us. Clearly the sign and the staff on the phone said 7pm. Now we're down $200 because of this incident! Management please investigate further on staff working on 10/1/2023 6pm. Im very upset because all the staff had to do was open they gate until 7pm, we had the laborers

I went to goodwill.com. I had bidder and paid for a pair of like new womens vans. That was October 18th 2022. I sent them a message 2 days later( after noticing my idem was just sitting with no activity) I requested a ETA date with a polite thank you. Two days later , they sent me a message that they are not required to ship 2my idem( per there polic3y) for five working days. I sent them a message the next morning, stating I was contacting PayPal by the afternoon and requesting a refund for failure to ship my idem in a timely manner. By 1:00 that day, I checked there website and the status of my idem was to in open idems( no activity). I let them know I was reporting them to PayPal and requesting a refund. After I was through explaining the issue I was having with goodwill to PayPal I checked on there website if idem status had changed. It had. They had created a tracking number. So I checked the tracking number on FedEx website. No movement. Trackimg number had only been created. I let PayPal know what I had discovered. This goodwill person sent me a very nasty message in all caps, huge 2 inch font size .; if I open a claim this will delay all transactions and refunds or non refunds tell end of novermber. I just could not believe that this was happening. I contacted PayPal again and filed a claim against them. What I did not realize is that PayPal is required by law to give goodwill 10 working days to respond to this claim I filed. They knew that and probably had a good laugh at my expense. Not only do I not get my idem, they get to keep my money that I sent in five mintues of winning the bid. Now they have ten more working days to ship my idem and no one cares. I deleted my account and will never go back to purchasing from there website. They really don't care about anyone who buys from them. Good for you that you wanted to help out and buy used donated idems. They don't care about you or the kind of service they are offering. There is no corporate number to call when something goes wrong. Ita the customers fault for trusting a big long standing company with the name goodwill. Is it good will to treat your customers who put there trust and money in you?! No it is not. Traning should also include what good customer service is and a five day policy shouldn't be used as a shipping time rule. If you can ship idems out sooner, then you should. And sending very hateful messages to good paying customers because they felt there idem should have shipped should never be tolerated. Customers who buy from goodwill make it possible for alot of desperate people to get gainful experience and employment. For one orange county location to act in such a negative and horrible way should be never be ok. This order was a .com order and came from goodwill industries of orange county. The ref# 4N262871EW5196004 .the date of purchase was 10/18/2022. I have let PayPal know that I feel like PayPal needs to look into the goodwill shipping practices and see if that is really the kind of business they want to partner with. For me, this is about the principle and less about the idem. I don't think this location or any location that stands behind( hides) the company name; Goodwill should be allowed to continue this mistreatment of good-hearted people. Its sad that they don't provide any way for a message like this to get to someone who is and wants to stop this bad behavior in there corporation. I am totally done with this website, this location, this company. Not worth all the stress and aggravation. I plan on posting my experience everywhere. Maybe someone who can make a change will see this and make a change.

I just wanted to write a rave review for the donation center! I was cleaning out my storage unit and dropped off a ton of things here. The guys working at the donation center were so helpful and accommodating. I was able to lift most of the boxes, but they would ask, "Do you need help with that?" when I pulled out of my car. It really made me feel cared for. I've done Goodwill donations at a lot of the locations from Riverside to Orange County and this is, by far, the best. Thank you to the guys working at the donation center and i'll be back!

Deserves zero stars thanks to Karmina if that's her name, looks like she's the shift lead or something. Karmina has NO MANNERS. I'm not sure why someone would make her manager or whatever she is if she's beyond rude. Started yelling at me out of the no where. Horrible, horrible experience. Someone give her some vacations.

- OMG! If I could give this place a -6 starZ, I definitely would. I hate that they don't have that option so that's why I posted it above. This is by far the absolute worst friggin Goodwill around. First off they had but a few things I was interested in. The store was very poorly kept. Half of the employees were under the influence of some unknown substance. Especially to accuse me of stealing. So here's the low down. I am checking out and these two chubby Latina gals ,one old and one a bit younger(didn't catch their names) came up to me and my girl as we we're checking out and stared demanding me to give them their bra back. I was like wtf are u talking about. They're holding some dingy bra up that someone had obviously left in the dressing room after myself and they're accussing me of stealing and trading bras out. First off I don't steal,I don't have to. Just because I have tattoos doesn't mean I steal. I make enough money to buy what I need when I need. They're accussing me if switching bras. Which I didn't do. Another thing, the bra was a small size and I definitely am not a small size. Another thing. I had a strapless dress on. (Not that either of them had style or taste but I myself don't wear bras with strapless dresses. There's tw&ts obviously think they rule the world because they have minimum wage Goodwill jobs.. I hope u 2 idiots do read this and I'll continue to post all over the internet about your bad buisness and well as call Goodwill head quarters. Start looking for a new min wage job. Peace!

I can't speak for the retail store but their drop off is super easy. Most of the guys are very nice and helpful. I respect their job. It's a lot to have to collect and separate this stuff.

Everything has now been priced high using eBay in which Goodwill sells all the good stuff on eBay and at Amazon! They get donations from Target returns and the Lost&Found from the major amusement parks in the area! And please be sure to use hand sanitizer after you leave and when you get home take off plus wash your clothes you had worn from all the coughing and sneezing from the other customers and their children!

I like the Goodwill. But I can't give them five stars. Not yet, but they are revamping the stores into a cleaner designed layout. The same stuff is sold but now the prices have increased. Some prices tripled. I like electronics and music. A tape deck used to be around five bucks and now twenty. I will not pay that. I also don't like if something doesn't work and you bring it back, get a credit voucher, then they place the item back on the shelf. Then recycle that item for sale again. Smart? Yes. Why sell something once and make a profit, when you can sell the item over again and still never loose money. They get their stuff free anyway. Equals money. Lots of money. I don't like the Goodwill being by customers as a place for day care for their kids to run around and play, knocking stuff over and breaking things, taking knobs off stereos, leaving shirts on the ground, and yelling and screaming! I hate that and the higher prices. Now all the good stuff is being sold online. The stores sell junk and Target stores broken returns and b-stock'ish stuff that's unfit for the regular retail stock. I think Goodwill buys it too then resales it, despite claiming all their items are 'donated'. So I hear.

It is very large, but for that reason, also very picked over. In addition, they know the brands and will price them higher. For me, that takes all the fun out of treasure hunting. Large and plentiful fitting rooms though and again very large selection of clothes and even electronics as that is a separate section. Overall, it was not my favorite thrift store in Orange County even though it may be the largest.
