Great little store when I'm in a rush to find cute gift wrapping paper, supplies and gift bags. They have a little bit of everything from house wares to crafting and school supplies to tools, makeup, snacks.

Grew up behind Mater Dei and this is my little go to hot spot I can find just about everything and anything at Discount Max from house hold kitchen items to gardening tools, laundry baskets, fly traps, party items (balloons, banners, easter egg confetti, streamers, table balloon stands, tissue paper, gift bags, piggy banks) what dont they have! The very soft spoken Male cashier is also super helpful an very polite.

Located in the same Plaza as smart and final and Rite Aid. They have all household essentials. Everything from toothpaste to birthday gifts. Prices are a bit higher then other places, but there's never a line.
