The teaching staff is absolutely amazing and are clearly doing their absolute best every day. That being said, we have decided to pull our kid out as the teachers seem too overworked. The kid-teacher ratio is very bad in our opinion. I do want to stress again that the teachers are amazing ♥️

After our daughter left Childtime and started at another daycare, we waited a while before writing a review to really understand if all daycares were the same. Or, in other words, if our expectations were unreasonable and we were just over-protective parents. Well, now I can confidently say that it wasn't us, it's Childtime Santa Ana.Our daughter went there for 7 months, starting in the 12-18 month room before moving to the 18-24 month room.Initially I wanted to start off by saying that the teachers are great and that our concerns were more with management, but then I realized it's the teachers who spend 8-9 hours a day with my daughter; it's the teachers who are supposed to keep the kids engaged, teach them new things everyday, create a happy, positive environment where they are encouraged to play with other kids; it's the teachers who should give an update to the parents at the end of the day, explain how the day went, talk about milestones, share cute moments the kid had.And well, with perhaps one exception, none of our teachers ever did any of the above. They just didn't, and it would be too simplistic to blame management for that. By the way, "none" in this case refers to at least 8 teachers, if not more. Yes, in just 7 months our poor little girl was basically tossed around from teacher to teacher. Rotation is inevitable, it's 2023 and I do know there is high demand for child care and not enough options. However, what is not inevitable, and actually should be completely unacceptable to all parents, is that virtually everyday we would find a different teacher at pick up. And that meant that they had no idea about my daughter, about her day, about how much she ate or slept. Their favorite thing to say was "I don't know, I wasn't there". Well guess what, neither was I! If you weren't there, then who was? And if the teachers have short shifts, shouldn't they leave notes to the next teacher and just communicate with each other? Seriously, what else were they busy doing? Not the things I mentioned at the beginning of my review and that are expected of them, that's for sure. Also important to share that, because of their persistent staff shortages, they combine classes literally all the time. As a result, my daughter was supposed to sleep around other kids who are much younger, cried much more, and were on a clearly different schedule. It wouldn't be unusual to have 15+ kids trying to nap in the same small room. As you can imagine, that means that she didn't get any sleep. And I can't stress this point enough: a child who doesn't sleep enough is a child who is typically not in a good mood, doesn't eat well, doesn't play with other kids as much, and doesn't develop as quickly. There are many studies focused on this, but Childtime doesn't seem to be concerned at all with the children's sleep, or lack thereof. We obviously did share our concerns with management, MANY times. In fact, one director was so ineffective at her job that I assume got fired, but just as expected, the next director, despite some grand introductions and free ice cream, did nothing to show any improvements.Another thing, possibly the most important one: Childtime has one of the highest number of violations in our area. I wish we would have known about license violations! When we looked them up, and learned about their countless violations over the years, we just couldn't stay there anymore. And these are serious violations, we are talking about being massively out of ratio (14 children with 1 teacher. I wish I was kidding, look them up), failed or missing background checks for teachers and staff, rats in and around classrooms, unsanitary changing pads, unlocked cabinets with diaper rash cream at children's arm's reach, and the list goes on and on.I wanted to take the time to write this review because, at least for us, absolutely nothing in this world matters more than our daughter. And if we had read a review like thi

Hello, This has been a wonderful place for my boys, I feel welcomed every morning as well as most of the staff there is very Friendly. Big shout out to Ms. Mireya! We have been knowing that teacher for about a year and half! Gives great updates on our child! Circle time songs always come home with us because my child remembers it every time we on our way home in English and Spanish, Let's not forget how clean her classroom is and how much she cares on having each child's face clean whenever they are done eating. I appreciate this place on how flexible they are and how many updates we get as parents everyday of what is going on. Thank you all for your hard work! Much appreciated!

I would absolutely recommend Childtime of Santa Ana. In fact, I have already referred friends and their children! My son is currently enrolled and we are pleased with our experience so far. He started at 3mo old and has developed important socialization skills, he is comfortable with adults and other children, and he gets proper stimulation with art, outside time and music! They send weekly lesson plans that make you feel like you are apart of your child's day. When selecting a daycare, I felt it was important to enroll somewhere where my child would learn structure, and the teachers are great at trying to maintain the same routine you keep at home. Lastly, they use an app that provides details on meals, activities, and important updates to keep you informed on your child's day-to-day - big bonus is there is a livestream camera so you can actually look in on your little one. Our family has had an amazing experience with EVERY teacher and staff there.

The staff are all so professional, and our 2 year old LOVES Ms. Diana. We enrolled when she was around 18mos and yes it's hard to let your first baby go, and even a year later we spend way too much time watching the cameras. But it's such a joy to have her come home with new vocabulary, lingo, and even mannerisms. They are fed and changed and napped like clockwork. The mobile apps get you camera access, photo updates, diaper change updates, and even the day's curriculum for song and storytime. It's so nice that they are tech savvy. How they get a room full of toddlers to nap at the same time every day is wizardry.

Child killing time.Saffs and all teachers are very unprofessional. I ran to emergency room a few times because they drop my children from the diaper changing station. There is no safety training for the teachers. Please avoid.

I would highly recommend Childtime of Santa Ana to any of my friends and family! The staff are warm and welcoming and the facility is always clean and has plenty of natural indoor and outdoor space and amenities for children to flourish. We are leaving due to major lifestyle changes, but planned to keep my daughter here until she aged out. The director, Ms. Andrea, runs a tight ship and is always in open communication with the parents. The staff are very accommodating for all requests and always strive to educate and encourage the kids within their care. I’m an anxious parent, and they always were free to speak with me regarding my concerns. My daughter started here when she was 4 months old and is 2 now. Thank you Childtime for providing a home away from home for my child! We will miss this place.

A great center with thoughtful and greatly rationed staff and core teams that were mindful of an appropriate curriculum in the early pre k and pre k courses. Summer camp offered full of lots of great experiences. App gives you a live view and open contact with the class. Secure and friendly neighborhood and campus across the street from an elementary school.

We have been at childtime for almost a year. We had a few issues that is why the 3 stars are there. Each time there was an issue and was handle right away but only after our child told us what happened and we had to bring it up. Overall they are learning and we generally feel they are safe there. We want to give Ms. Victoria 5 stars she is amazing and really caring and goes out of her way for any child when she sees they might be struggling or having a tough time. I wish my child could stay in her class for ever! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. Victoria, she made sure to go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and to make sure my daughter felt comfortable.

My two year old has been going to Childtime since November of 2021. This is the only daycare we've ever used, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I've been very happy. My son has been flourishing! He was a COVID baby, so he spent the first 18 months of his life around maybe 5 people total. Since going to Childtime, he's become more social and outgoing and he's comfortable around other people. He comes home knowing new words and singing new songs all the time. The staff are all wonderful - I don't have a single complaint about any of them. Either they're all great at putting on an act, or they're genuinely happy to see my son every day. Everybody greets him so warmly, and by name.

Our daughter had been at Childtime since 18 months, and we love it there. It really feels like a home away from home for our child. All the teachers and staff are wonderful and always take the time to share info. The app lets me know what activities they kiddies are up to which is so awesome to see when I'm at work. My daughter loves her teachers so much, which is the best feeling of all. So happy we were able to find and get a spot at Childtime!

My kids have been attending Childtime Tustin since 2015. This place is family to me. My kids are well cared for and they are open to feedback and are responsive to my questions. Over the years my kids have had many teachers as they moved through the different age groups/classrooms. Ms. Robynne and Ms. Lexie are great. There are so many more teachers to name that I am sure I will miss some. The assistant teachers are fabulous too. They help out wherever needed. We appreciate all of the Chikdtime staff! There are many fun events and spirit days that they have. From Trunk or Treat to spirit days, Mother's/Father's Day, Egg hunts and fun, themed, summer camps there is always something fun going on! My kids have learned so much here and are ahead of the curve.

Our daughter LOVES Childtime! The teachers are all so great with all of the children. The administration has been great during this pandemic and sending weekly updates and information about how they are handling Covid 19. It's truly the best place we can take our children for learning and development.
