I did book the one bedroom queen suite with roll in shower for 2 days. I couldn’t sleep because my body was super itching and in the working I was checking the bed and food a big bug. I asked the receiptionist to change the room and she said no, the only thing they can do was to change the bed sheets. Also, I asked them if they can vacuum the room as the carpet was not clean and she said refused as well. I don’t recommend the hotel for the amount of money you will pay. My body was red and itchy for 4 days. Horrible experience

I got jammed and my son had to force it open from the outside. Bathroom door not lock. Was told that upgrades are coming next year. Would not recommend staying here till remodeled. Also, the fridge was so loud

Booked a stay for 03/20/24 through 03/23/24 was excited for the room which was nice on third level room 344 but the air conditioning was not working so I had to ask if they can move us and they did immediately to room 143 but was a little upset with the conditions of the room seems like it had been through many repairs but none seem to be professionally done very beaten room which was a bummer but my family was already tired and ready for bed after a long day so I decided not to make any complaints for that night and although we tried asking the next day if they can make it right with at least complimentary parking or something they said they can’t do much for us anymore so that was it had to get through the days here. So that’s that I will not be booking here anymore.

Memorable service, due to the fact there is no one at the front desk on a regular basis. Only present during check in. An evening, I was waiting there to ask a question, a female voice yelled out if i needed something. No customer service. Never saw whom was speaking. I spoke to a wall.

Stayed here 6 or so years ago and it was great it's starting to show its age but the staff do what they can with the resources on hand. I wish the company cared about this property as much as the workers obviously do. Locks broken, mold on the vents, other disrepair items.

The room smelled BAD it was raining hard the bedroom.was o hot.I had to bring in a fan the carpet is like from the late 80's nomaid service I had a 6 day stay maid only cleans every 7 days I had to go to front desk every day for clean towles exchanes kitchen wash cloth and towel rhe card keys we had to change twice we were licked out on the first floor it smells great at entrance bit thats it The Best Thing was the bed very nice and comfortable clean Blankets clean sheets and almost everyone at front desk was great th maids were so sweet every time we went to front the Maintanace man was evry nice he made us laugh evry time we talked about our dogs BEFOR YOU.MAKE A RESERVATION ASK THEM ABOUT THE CLEANING AND KEY CARDS GOOD LUCK AND BLES YOU ALL OH THEY STILL HAVENT FOUND MY FAN IT WENT MISSING GO FIGURE

Room was super clean. Front desk was very nice, professional, and super helpful. Location was very close to the airport and there was lots of places nearby to get food and other necessities

Clean and large room with a great kitchen. Check-in and Check-out worked well. For me a perfect location for business and a nice coffee shop around the corner.

I stayed one night. Bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The towels and shower were good enough.Good value! Very close to John Wayne Airport.Good overall experience.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY STAYING HERE. One of the most odd places I’ve ever stayed... The hotel literally called the cops on me for smoking a cigarette in my car… and tried to claim the ash on the ground was littering. Mind you the car was off, I wasn’t playing any music or anything like that. I took the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet to work on my homework every time I came out to the car to smoke. Completely minded my own business, while I watched the employees come out and smoke. After paying nearly $1,000 for just over a week. The place smells like smoke, among other disgusting stenches inside. It’s very dirty pretty much everywhere (they claim to only clean the hotel once every week, but that has yet to be seen). The same trash all over the parking lot that was there the first night I arrived was still there a week later. Just about everything is obsolete or broken. If you value your privacy or expect to be treated with respect, don’t stay here. These people are hypocritical weirdos that do not value their customers whatsoever. This was the first and last time staying at any Sonesta.Rooms: Trashy and stink.Nearby activities: Again, not much at all nearby. You have to drive to get to places.Safety: I noticed several safety hazards within the first 10 minutes of arriving.Walkability: There is nothing really within walking distance.Food & drinks: Food delivery app. Nothing available or provided by the hotel itself.Noteworthy details: They do not value their customers whatsoever.

Excellent price considering the location. i stay here 2 nights every week on business in Irvine and it's always great. Clean rooms, friendly staff and close to my office. I stayed at the Marriot down the street for years where i paid more than double and i've stayed at other hotels very close by that were higher priced and disgusting. Thank you Sonesta.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE. DO NOT STAY HERE. Most of the pictures aren't even from this property. It stinks like smoke, among other disgusting stenches. Super super dirty, and this is a huge understatement. The "gym" (if you can call it that) sucks.. and shares a very small room with the old and dusty paid laundry machines. Everything is either outdated, obsolete, broken, or missing. The employees are extremely rude and disrespectful. This place does not value their customers whatsoever. I honestly believe that they don't have any values at all. The white girl employee is the only one that wasn't absolutely terrible. Apparently they call the police on their well-paying customers for things such as: sitting in your own car, doing your paperwork/homework, smoking a cigarette, and minding your own business. Even the local police apologized for this place making false calls, wasting taxpayers money, Meanwhile their employees walk the parking lot back and forth yelling on their phone smoking cigarette after cigarette. This place is by far the worst ever and it should be shut down for all the illegal and immoral things they do. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE. YOU WILL REGRET IT VERY QUICKLY. If only I could give it 0 stars... that would be much more appropriate.

Honestly it’s great and I love staying here, it’s my second time now. Cleaning crew do a great job and it feels safe, no one loitering around carpark or corridors. It’s quiet and private. Room is super clean, no mysterious stains on anything, towels pristine and bed fluffy. Complaints if any would be the shower, it’s a little wonky but no big deal.
