first time living in an apartment complex and always hear horror stories about apartments but not this one! I moved out back in january but wanted to say that I had such wonderful time living here. the complex is always clean and everyone who works here is very welcoming and accommodating. had a few problems during my stay that were solved fairly quickly but overall amazing experience living here. the location is great. nearby tons of restaurants and grocery stores. would recommend for anyone looking for a place to live.

did not have a good time living here. the people in the office are a pain to work with and there always seems to be an issue with something. maintenance comes and goes into apartment whenever they feel with little to no prior warning, and bang on the door until you answer. maintenance was otherwise respectful and helpful. leaf blowing every day at 8am for some reason?? extremely loud and disruptive tasks going on in courtyard areas almost every day. it's been almost a month and i haven't seen my security deposit returned and office workers are unhelpful and always seem like they don't care when there's an issue. they also have an option on application for a "preferred name" which i do have one. at the beginning of the application process i entered my preferred name as well as my legal name and they claimed me and my previous partner were trying to lie about our identities. why have the option if you're going to do this. it was figured out in the end but was still a frustrating thing to go through. i just do not recommend living here.

I'm a happy tenant here and I was indecisive about what apartment that suits my lifestyle and Jesse was not only providing the professional tour he was very interested in making sure I was informed of all amenities and what the corporate background was established to ensure the security of my lease team to make it a Long living experience and environment of a boutique friendly safe community. Daisy and Jesse definitely are have you best interest in lifestyle for family and a respectable homestead. 5Stars!!!!! I'm so happy here

California Palms is the best home I have had yet! I have moved around quite a bit, but this is my first California rental after moving from the east coast. I am honestly sad I have to leave to move closer to work. Out of my 5 rentals, California Palms is definitely the best by a long shot. The staff, especially Daisy, are absolutely fantastic and always on top of things. They worked with me to make moving in and living here a breeze. The maintenance crew is top of the line, I have had every single maintenance request addressed same day. Never had any issues of leaks, bugs, ect. Trash never got out of hand, laundry rooms were always organized, pools were always clean. Its a great place to live, I highly recommend it.

I've been here for 9 months now and my experience with the application turnaround has been quick and easy. Jerry and Daisy are very friendly and always check in to make sure everything in the apartment is in working order. I don't see too many pests around, which is great. Maintenance staff are also friendly and keep the property clean and well-maintained for the residents.Pros:My studio gets a decent amount of natural sunlight in the morningFlooring and spacious layout throughout my unitQuiet, well-maintained, and safe communityFriendly residentsCons (not the property's fault):There were some inconsiderate residents who leave their pet waste on the artificial turf (and the property provides poop bags and a trash can), but lately I haven't seen it happen that often now.Street noise from Harbor Blvd and revving carsFireworks from neighboring tractOverall, my stay has been very satisfying and safe here

Have been here for a few years now, nothing but good things to say. Quiet, community. Easygoing, respectful, outgoing, and eclectic neighbors. Nice pools, nice weight room, clean and well kept grounds. It is a safe place for kids and families, singles and couples alike. The staff here, from the start, has been attentive, accommodating, and helpful. Always available to take a call, or stop to chat while they walk the grounds. I have always had the pleasure of dealing with Jerry and Daisy, both the best. Jerry always helps walk me through new changes, helps answer my day to day questions. He calls me back if no one is available and always follows up with us, to make sure everything is good and we don't need anything. Always excellent. Daisy is just as efficient and kind. Always available to discuss help with billing questions, adding amenities and facilitating changes. The maintenance staff is super quick to respond and very efficient with their work, not one single issue with maintenance at all in 3 years. I hope I get his name correct, Julio, the lead maintenance supervisor is outstanding and so friendly!!Clean, quiet, safe, decently affordable, with an amazing staff. It is hard to ask for much more!! Thank you Cali Palms and staff for an amazing place to call home!!

I have lived in the complex for about 8 months and I have greatly enjoyed it. The community is well kept and clean, very little to no noise from neighbors, and the management team always responds in a timely fashion. The surrounding area is walkable (check out the taco stands down the street!) and I feel safe inside the complex. Thank u for all u do CA Palms team :)

Pros:- Main office staff are super responsive and friendly, especially Jerry!- When you place work orders, they respond very quickly, address and fix the problem. The maintenance team guys are kind and professional. Huge shoutout to them!- Secured gate, plenty of parking, available space for trash- Weight room is a nice addition; it has the basic dumbbells and some machines you'd hope for (now if they add a squat / deadlift rack, it would be perfect!)- I haven't noticed too many pests. One small dead roach when I moved in, but I haven't seen another in the few months I've been here. I did see a silverfish inside though. Not the end of the world (yet). and PS: I HATE roaches, so if I see them inside, I will lose my ****-Diverse community, neighbors have been friendly Cons:- Walls are THIN. I can hear my neighbors talking as though we're in the same room. I wish it was more soundproof. - Not the actual property's fault, but the neighboring houses have loud AF dogs that can persist throughout the night. - Not much else that I can think of!Overall, this place has been great, the staff are responsive and approachable, and I'm happy to be here!

I was a tenant at California Palms for 1.5 years before moving out of state. My stay at this apartment was great. The complex was always well-maintained and the leasing office was very welcoming if you had any questions or concerns. In particular, Joel M., one of the individuals that maintained the apartment complex, was great. Joel responded to work orders in a timely manner and was good at communicating whenever maintenance was required on the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment
