Cashier sold 1 pound of chorizo but didn't even bother weighing it. When I got home I noticed it was small and it was only .75 of a pound. I wonder how many other customers they are stealing from.

I used to not like chorizo because I had a bad first experience trying it. However, my girlfriend was so excited to make chorizo for me saying Aurora’s had the best chorizo. I tried it for her sake and was so surprised at how good it was. She always hypes this place up, and I can see why. I even went with her to buy the chorizo, and the girl working the counter was so friendly and nice. 5 out of 5 for sure!

Best chorizo place ever! I don't even live nearby, but I will always go out of my way to get it specifically from here. I usually see the same two ladies working, and they both are just wonderful. So friendly!

This Mexican market has the most delicious chorizo/longaniza! you can’t find their delicious chorizo anywhere else. Always the best quality meat and cheeses and the salsas top tier! Can’t get enough of this place. I make weekly stops here from South county and it’s worth the drive. It’s a family owned and they are super friendly & nice. Thank me later, this is OC secret treasure spot. They just opened an Orange location as well if you are coming from corona area.

If your looking for good quality chorizo, aurora's chorizo is where it's at. Whether you are grilling or cooking on the stove top the quality of the meat doesn't disappoint. You Can't find good lean chorizo like auroras chorizo in any other store. Not only do they sell chorizo but there small market offers a variety of pantry selections, fresh homemade salsa, fresh Mexican cheeses and sour-cream.

The first 2 times I went it was a very unpleasant experience because the woman who served had a very bad mood and was unpleasant. The 3rd time it was different, the owners were very friendly and the chorizo was very delicious ? I recommend it..

There's no other chorizo like it in town, or in SoCal. Authentic ingredients and so well made!

If you are still buying chorizo from store brands such as Cacique and El Mexicano, just stop. Stop hurting your body and come to Aurora's Chorizo because they make great tasting quality chorizo! I may not know the true difference between authentic versus non-authentic chorizo, but having had the best tasting chorizo from a wedding I attended in Guadalajara, Mexico, none of the chorizo at the supermarkets comes close. Have you ever cooked chorizo where it's a pool of orange oil and the chorizo still looks wet and mushy where you can't tell if it's cooked or not? Well, not with Aurora's! Aurora's Chorizo is leaner and retains its shape and locks in the flavor of the seasonings so much better than any chorizo I've worked with. You can't go wrong with any of their chorizo options here, but I recommend Chorizo Picoso which is the spiciest one they offer and the Chorizo Verde. Chorizo Verde is unique to me and honestly, the green is scary, yet intriguing. The Verde is comprised of green herbs and chilies (serrano and jalapeno) and it is the most fragrant/flavorful chorizo! My hubby and I loved this one! Chorizo here is so fragrant that on the ride home, our car was filled with the smell of the seasoning even though we kept it in cooler with ice and locked away in the trunk. Keep in mind they don't use preservatives so it's best to cook within a day or two or freeze it. See my photos for pricing! The lady who helped us was super sweet and friendly. She took the time to explain every option to us. I also picked up a Salsa Roja and Oaxaca cheese. Both were housemade and they are good! If you're in the market for Oaxaca cheese, try this one - it's fresh, texture is perfect, and the flavor is on point! $9.99/pound of Oaxaca cheese is a bit pricey to me, but it is so good compared to the ones from the market. I cannot recommend this place enough! I will only come to Aurora's for my chorizo needs from now on!
