Idid not like the hair cut that Sophia the hair dresser gave me i dont know who gave her hair cutting licence she should not be a hairdresser iam very abset she didnt nothing to my hair instead she made it worst than it was before i will not go back again

I went for a haircut. I told Angie I'm trying to grow my hair and I wanted a cut from 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches long. And I let him know that I had layers. But I never said or mentioned that I wanted to cut the layers because the point was a clean one to continue growing my hair. I don't know what I was thinking but I cut like 4-5 inches off my layers. 4- 5 inches I don't understand why he thought he could cut more length from my layers than the length of my hair. Although I told him 2 inches length. Angie removed the length of layers of my hair. Now I only have a very short layer below my shoulder, which is where my layers began. I cut all the layers that continued from under my shoulder to under my hair. Even when I saw that she was cutting my layers I told her “what are you doing because you are cutting my hair so much” at that moment she looked scared full of anxiety and didn't stop. He continued without understanding that he was doing something wrong. I told Angie my truth that I didn't like the haircut it wasn't what I wanted, and my hair was left looking different lengths. On the side of understanding and taking responsibility, he told me that I did not explain well what I wanted. I have been to this salon many times to dye my hair and cut it and have never had this problem. My purpose was to grow my hair but Angie didn't understand what I was saying. And the actions I took did not help me reach my purpose. There are people who listen to speak and people who wait for their turn to speak. There was no empathy. Now I'm traumatized because part of my hair is very short and the other part is very long. A stylist knows that when a client has layers they always have to cut the layers differently than the length of the hair underneath. Because they know that layers are like a ladder, step by step the length changes. But now my hair looks like a ladder with many steps missing. This experience has left me traumatized. My hair is dyed gray and yellow because I'm trying to get to platinum and Angie cut off all the work I've done to get to that color. Now I have to wait for my hair to grow and then continue the painting process again. I'm not going back to this room anymore. And it is sad. But that experience made me very sad. Especially when a person sees that their client is disappointed.

This Place is AMAZING! We came all the way from the Bay Area to get my daughters hair cut that turned out fabulous! Great Prices, Friendly Stylist's, Clean and Comfortable environment and Convenient location. My teenager doesn't let anyone else style her hair so I'm greatful for this place. I got my root's colored by Lucy. She brought out a book with color swatches and said my root color was super dark brown. I disagreed and told her that was too dark so she said she'd use a combo of the dark and the color that I showed her. She went on to sloppily apply the color too much more than just the roots and then took another customer while my color was processing. She left me waiting forever and the color over processed and came out way too dark. I suspect that she didn't do the color mix that she said she'd do and instead just used the hideous dark color that she initially wanted to use. I should've read the Yelp reviews before going there and possibly tried using Andrea or Sophia instead. I'll have to go somewhere else to get the color corrected. The color that she applied is noticeably darker than the rest of my hair and she applied it 3 inches down from the root. It looks really bad. If you go there don't let Lucy touch your hair. She's terrible.

Sofia is amazing totally recommend 10/10! She gave me beautiful highlights and that money piece on my front bangs. She left my hair looking beautiful and healthy. I'll always come back because of the great service they are all friendly and welcoming! If I could rate 10 stars I would, theyre great, I am always getting compliments on Sofia's work on my hair.
