Just signed up recently having canceled my membership back in 2020 during COVID and this gym has gotten better. One of the best 24 hour gyms in OC. Equipment is not worn out, clean, helpful staff. Looking forward to starting my fitness journey again thank you.

This gym has greatly improved. I wanted to quickly write a review talking about paulina. Shes very hard worker and takes care of everuthing. The only one who makes sure spray bottles are full at all times she’s the only nice one. Can we sell deodorant for members?

06/13/2024 update: I went back there yesterday and it was crowded. The shower and restroom were improving. Thanks. Please keep the maintenance. Or else, will rate again.
Past: I went there 5 days ago. The bathroom is still smelly and gross. I just read a staff response to another review 2 months ago promising to improve and I just laughed ?. What a liar! I only like the pool view so I gave 2 stars. This place is crowded and hard to find a parking spot. I guess they don't have money to clean it more often.

It's not a bad gym with plenty of equipment, and lots of room to work with. Can't forget about the pool, and the steam room! My only concern is when people hog the weights and benches and are on their phones doing nothing that involves working out. There have been times where I have had to skip exercises because of *ssholes hogging equipment such as dumbbells, benches, and stations. I wish the workers would fix this issue. Overall it's alright ??

It sad to see this place slowly going down hill. This is the second week I've been here and each day the woman's restroom is not clean. The bathroom is filthy no seat covers and no toilet tissue. When you get on the exercise floor the paper towels dispenser are empty and the spray bottles don't work. You walk the whole gym just to find stuff to wipe down the machines. The treadmills are not kept up when you turn them on they make a lot of noise. It sad to see this location is getting bad. I brought it to the staff before about the restrooms and all they can say we are short staffed. I'm sorry but that not an excuse.

Update: it’s been a lot cleaner recently!
Employees have always been friendly and helpful, and I have no complaints about them. The cleanliness of the gym, however varies week by week. Yesterday there was a huge and bloody remnant left from someone’s nose on one of the treadmills. Sometimes trash stays on the machines for days straight (as I go pretty consistently and use the same machines. And yes, I always clean up after myself and avoid the treadmills w the trash etc.)
Machines wise- most of their stationary bikes (at one point all of them were) are broken. The free weights in the Group X room are always locked up, which is not the case for ANY other 24 hour location I have been to. The majority of their mats are the small skinny ones, so if you’re tall or wide, floor workouts can be uncomfortable.

I was debating whether or not I should leave a negative review because I am not the type to do so but seeing how others have had the same experience like me I decided to as well. Yesterday I decided to take my dad to the gym for the first time since he was excited to try out 24 hours. Unfortunately my dad did not have his ID with him at the time to sign in as my guest (which I understand) but the fact the employee was giving me attitude by being rude and sarcastic I did not appreciate. It even made my dad uncomfortable and he does not plan to step foot into this gym. There’s better ways to talk to customers and the way he handled the conversation I do not believe a person like that should manage the front desk. I believe his name was Jessie. When I signed up or needed help to sign in my guests, I’ve had other staff members assist me with a far better attitude. The gym was most convenient to me but after this experience I would rather drive to a farther location than to deal with that type of behavior.

I had a very bad experience at this 24-hour fitness in Main Place Mall. Customer service from staff member Jessie was bad. Jessie needs to be retrained in customer service. I went to sign up for a membership on 03/26/2024 around 8:20 pm. My brother convinced me to get a membership. I decided I was going to sign up after taking a tour of the gym. The first staff member my brother and I made contact was with Jessie. Jessie asked me to show him my ID. I told him I did not have my ID with me because I had left it in the car and that I did not know I needed an ID. Jessie replies with an attitude "How do you expect to get in the gym without an ID" Jessie could have just explained the policy like his coworker explained to me. There was no need for Jessie to give me attitude. I tried addressing the problem with Jessie before I left the gym after working out he simply argued with me. I asked to speak to his manager but he said his manager was not working at the time. He then continued being sarcastic and said no matter how many times I talk to the manager I need to show my ID. I don't mind showing my ID. The problem is him being rude and sarcastic. Like I said before all he had to do was explain policy and not argue with the customer.

This is the greatest gym with the best views and pool. Only thing is I don't like the lighting at 24 fitness, it too harsh and makes my face look fat

There needs to be a parental chaperone policy in place at this gym for the large groups of minors here. The behavior and lack of consideration given to adult gym members here is ruining the experience for everyone. I come here late at night (after 9 PM) on weekdays and it seems to be an after-school hangout spot.
