I truly appreciate the quality and philosophy of Pitman Farms. ?????I purchase meats weekly from their farms, and the quality is consistent, and I believe it is because of the way the animals are treated in life and the humane processing. Thank you to everyone at Pitman Farms.******,*********************

This company employs people who have stolen identities! My child’s identity was stolen when she was in high school and I’ve been dealing with this company and no one will ever return my calls. So I am obtaining legal representation and will handle this situation that way. I have reached out many times and no one returns calls. They seem to not care that they employ people who are thief’s and steal others identities! Fair warning about this shady company!

Horrible company. Show up at noon sit in check in office for over an hour. Not a soul insight, NO SIGN or anytging that states they have a lunch break. Just complete BS. Not serious conpany at all. Definetly will be avoiding pickups from here moving forward.

I have purchased Mary's chicken at Whole foods. This morning I started to cut up the chicken and the top chicken breast was tender and the bottom breast is so hard to even cut into. I have been experiencing this with Mary's chicken breasts for a few weeks now. This breast was considerably hard as was difficult to cut. I won't ever be buying Mary's organic again. To many times tough organic chicken breast. My dog wouldn't even eat it. Something is not right.

I purchased Mary's Chicken for Easter dinner at our Natural Grocers. With the Corona Virus I had dinner by myself so I mostly ate my roasted herb chicken. I found upon sleeping that my digestive system had problems. Today I checked ingredients fed to the chickens. The site says 75% corn and 15% soy. Nutritionists and the public know these two grains have lots of pesticides unless organic. They do not specify organic. No one answers the phone so decided to text. I've been looking for a healthy chicken. These are not healthy for my system. If anyone can recommend one without corn and soy products used, please respond. Thank you.

Please do your research and look into their "humane" practices. What they portray themselves to be on their website is NOT what they truly practice. Despite having a scale of production comparable to the largest producers in the world (over 100.000 square feet with almost 400.000 birds), Pitman still portrays itself as a "small family farm". The Pitman's family has repeatedly been accused of false advertising and deceptive practices, relying on the facts that labels such as "pasture-raised", "humane" are NOT precisely defined by the federal government. This is NOT your "family farm" with chickens running around outdoors that you would want to support despite what you might be told or see on their website. Additionally, in the recent Cornucopia Institute investigation (the Cornucopia Institute is a non-profit organization acting as a national food and farm policy watchdog group working to uphold the integrity of organic, local, and other forms of alternative agriculture), the Pitman's family farms did not cooperate with this institute at all, and they were not transparent in disclosing their practices, feed sourcing, birds housing, slaughter methods and much more. Interestingly, a "small family farm" that portrays itself to do all the "right things" and can potentially draw more customers interested in supporting farms implementing humane practices by receiving a high score in the Cornucopia Institute scoring, did not cooperate at all and refused to answer what the all the "right" things they do are - how weird! Stay away!

Bought a turkey from Costco under the Sweetwater Creek label. Took off the wrapping and it was missing a wing. The back of label indicated the turkeys were supplied by Pitman Farms. How can they sell a defective turkey? Unbelievable.
