“Great customer service. If you need a Storage The Unit, they have all sizes and availability most of the time. Whatever is your budget? There’s always something for you. Make sure to ask for Suyumy or Luz . There are supplies for all your movie needs like wrapping, locks, tape, boxes, etc. Business office hours are from 9 to 5, and access hours from 6 AM to 10 PM. every day. Very clean and safe facilities. They have a system that you can go in with your cell phone. 24 hours surveillance.”
“Nice construction, right next to the freeway, plenty of carts available, unit has a nice tall 11 foot ceiling. Everything was extra clean and the owner was pretty friendly over the phone. They could definitely use some training though, especially on what the contract says. Definitely not necessary, but after you go through the first door to get into the elevator, they require you toRetake the same password in again so you feel extra safe and their nice new fancy building. But maybe they know people aren’t looking to store their gold bars or 5 gallon buckets of hard earned savings inside a storage unit. Sure makes the first floor a lot more valuable.Can’t give a rating if I haven’t used the service more than a day or so but it’s definitely sad to see all these storage businesses doing a slightly different variations of the same nonsense scam. Raising the rent means they increase the monthly amount that you need to pay. I guess when people need storage and they don’t have a choice, then that creates opportunity. Last company I rented the unit with, they tried to do the same thing where the rate was 259, which is what I agreed to, so I spent 100 hours moving in and getting organized and then somehow all of a sudden the rate increased to 359 do you have a question? So maybe storage units don’t need to follow the 7% law. Can’t say. But Rob seems like a cool guy on the phone. Maybe he’s the owner. it’s pretty nice unit.”

“I am new to the southbay and desperately needed a storage unit. I work in north county and my commute is long. I had looked up some storage facilities near where I live now and this was by far the best. I pulled in like 30 minutes before they close and they took their time to assist me with all my questions and concerns without rushing me. They even drove me in their golfcart to look at the unit. Facility is very clean and well maintained. My experience was above what I expected. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone! To the young man and woman working that day kudos to you both!”

Geoff could not have been more helpful in giving advice and helping to find a removal company to help us. We were able to leave the unwanted items with Geoff for disposal, which was so convenient. There were a lot of books in storage for some years and they have remained in good condition. This is a great storage facility, would definitely recommend.”

“When we bought our motorhome, finding a place to store it wasn't easy. Thank goodness none of the other storage places had availability because we just bit the bullet and paid more to store it inside at Big Toy. We have NEVER regretted it. We never have to worry about our motorhome critters getting into it; no worries about someone cutting off your catalytic converter or the sun baking your rig. We love BTD. Our motorhome gets washed, the battery is charged when we need to pick it up, and they will also fill the water tank. BTD offers other services; we have only used the battery service. Everyone at BTD is super friendly, and the facility is secure and immaculate. Calling and having them pull out the rig for pickup or on-site repairs by your mechanic is easy. Our rig is 14 years old and looks like new.”

We ended up leaving when we had a location to store in our home, but if we ever need to go to a place where we can be sure our trailer is safe and secure, Toy Storage on Industrial Blvd. is a great place to have.”

“Linda is awesome!! I'm active duty military who just moved into the area and I was extensively searching for a place to store my extra items. She listened to me and my situation then offered me units that were side by side within walking distance from a lift which would help greatly for all my stuff! On top of that, she helped me get the discount available for service members, showed me the property, explained the security, hours of operation, front office hours, and showed me the carts available to help me with move in or out. She did a fantastic job explaining everything to me, pro rated my first month, and gave me a promo fee for first move in. I'm looking forward to storing my items at StaxUp San Ysidro for the next year!”
