My family and I stayed at the hotel for Christmas weekend and we had a horrible experience. The hotel did not tell us before our stay that refugees were staying at the hotel. My family and I felt unsafe, my dog was barking all night at all the men walking back and forth in the hallways. The whole night they were talking and we couldn’t sleep. I also had my sister and mom stay here and this is the last time we ever come here

Dirty, noisy, unprofessional staff. Last nail in the coffin on Sunday 6:30 in the morning, there were 50 people in front of the reception. They were loud, it is inadmissible

Great location, near Plaza Las Americas. Fantastic customer service, Front Desk personnel were so kind and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean, I loved the style that they offer. Overall, I do recommend staying at Hotel Baja San Diego.

Horrible service! At check in the sir at the front desk set me up for a room where there were people already staying there. He didn't bother to check room or update his list before he gave me my keys. Reserved the room hours before I checked in only to find that my room had people inside. So to accommodate me for the night they gave me a honeymoon suite which was ok. Looked clean but the floors were sticky and the window was very dirty couldn't see clearly out of it. Screen was very dusty as well as the window curtains. Ac blew nicely but had like a sewage smell on and off. So the followingm morning I have to check out only to find my original room is now vacant to stay in on the 2nd floor near the pool right above it to be exact. The room has bunk bed that wasn't sturdy. The ac did not work and it was at the head of the bunk bed smh only blew warm air also with a bad smell from it. The room smelled like an old refrigerator that held frozen chicken. Smelled bad but looked clean. I had to check out becayse they could not accommodate me and my son I to another decent room that didn't smell bad and wasn't bunk beds. The pool and fountains in the front of the hotel all have green slimy looking water. Smells like the sewer and has a swarm of flies everywhere. The problem there is everyone walks around like it's normal!! When it was the Quality Inn the rooms were very clean the service was top notch esp for the price. The service now is not worth booking!!! Save your money and time do not book here!!!

Room was great, very spacious, clean and it smelled good! We got a room on the 3rd floor with a pretty nice view. The feel of the hotel felt very cozy and welcoming. The girl who checked us in was really friendly and very informative! The only downside was that breakfast was from 7am to 9am, we got there at 8am and there was nothing left but bagels and toast. They wouldn’t let us take the food to the room which kinda sucked. There’s also a fountain right outside the lobby that kind of smelled and had a ton of flies around it. Overall, the stay was excellent I would definitely recommend it!!

No more hot breakfast unless you count waffles. They used to have an awesome hot breakfast. Rarely any hot water for showers. Really gone down hill since last year. ?

This hotel has been amazing!! Great friendly staff who work hard and try to do anything they can to make your stay a wonderful one. It is animal friendly, so you can bring your fur babies here for a fee. The owners are always trying to up there game which I totally respect!! You don’t see tweezers around, the hotel is quiet and comfortable, beds are awesome, the little kitchenette with fridge microwave and coffee maker is a huge plus lus as I don’t have to take my son out to eat all the time. Between that and the waffle breakfast that had more than waffles. It has cereal, danishes, beagles, multiple types of bread for toast, hard boiled eggs most days, coffee, tea milk and juice. Always has some fresh fruit also. I will defiantly be back, and when family comes to visit I know I can send them here so there stay will be awesome. Thank you to the owners and all the staff you are all amazing!!!

Hotel doesn't provide shampoo/conditioner and uses orange koolaid instead of orange juice for their less than basic breakfast. For $160 I expected what other hotels in this price range provide. Pool is ice cold and no not tub.

AT 1st I thought wow cute hotel...but then the 1st room we checked into got had a leak from the fridge we checked into another room and the toilet kept clogging up we stayed here for the weekend and on the second night my husband woke up in a panic he saw bed bugs on the bed and he was bitten multiple times on his back we both just jumped out of the bed took pictures packed our stuff and left at 330am we let staff know and he told me to call the manager Monday at 10am I call at 10:40am and they tell me she left but will contact me when she gets back I call again at 4:40am and she is not there...I would not want anyone to find out the way we did about these bed bugs Hopefully no one else has to go through this

Very close to border crossing at San Ysidro crossing. Close by to Las Americas high end shopping center with name brands. Armani, Coach, Boss and many more. It's pricing is at the high end, but there are many good special buys. The mall is open air pedestrian ways from shop to shop. Food court in a pavilion, with about 6+ types of foods is convenient with regular pricing.
