“Not a big fan of their produce quality and their hot foods aren’t bad (the caldo de res is pretty impressive, served on weekdays), but omg their flour tortillas are, hands down, the absolute best I have ever tasted! They make them hot and fresh in front of you. Don’t be deterred by the line. It goes quickly and is absolutely worth the wait. I almost cried when the tortilla maker broke down while I was in line one day. Got some from Appletree instead that day and was not impressed. My nephew in Santee is absolutely obsessed with PV tortillas and I have to bring a minimum of three bags per visit.”
“Fun shopping atmosphere. Great prices. Delicious food. It's probably my favorite store for groceries.
Parking lot can fill up depending on day and time you go.
Also, very helpful employees! If you don't know where something is, or if they still have it, just ask!!!
Additionally, there isn't much risk in buying something new. They will take back anything you don't like, or anything that may not be of the best quality when you open it (very rare this happens).
We can't tell you how much we love this store!
P. S. Their employees really care! I've never seen such empathy from workers before.”
“I went in hungry to get a bite. I picked a 2 item plate with rice & beans. The mole was disappointing as was the shredded pork in chile verde. However, the chile relleno was delicious as were the beans.”
“I went like an hour ago, I really like the store. Btw: the guy that attended me was so handsome lol, actually when I walked in I was embarrassed to greet the boy. ?? but in general everything is really good.”
“I go here and it is always fun. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Love all the fresh and unique foods and the prices are GREAT! Their wine selection is awesome.”
“A fabulous gourmet supermarket. They have a buffet of vegetables, stews, olives, soups... all exquisite. You serve yourself, you pay at the register and you can eat at the bar that is in the same supermarket or you can eat at the tables in the square. I recommend it to you.”
“This market is the best for exceptional fresh meat, produce, homemade tortillas, pastry items, and hot fresh soups. Always clean and friendly staff. I have never been disappointed. My mom also likes this market.”
“Ridiculously low prices!!! You might not be able to find an exact item (say a particular granola bar or bag of chips) but you'll save 50% or more on a very similar item! It's a fun way to explore new flavors and food items, at a really good price. This is my family's primary grocery store in IB.”
“The owner was super helpful, plus he recommended his products and gave us all the details we needed to narrow down our choices. I definitely recommend this liquor store!”
“Gorgon first leaves the Inhuman city of Attilan to rescue Medusa (suffering from amnesia at the time), who became lost in the outside world. This leads to a battle with the Fantastic Four, who rescued Medusa from the supervillain team the Frightful Four.[2] After making contact with the outside world, Gorgon and the rest of the Royal Family have several encounters with the Fantastic Four over the years, seeking their aid against foes such as Black Bolt's brother Maximus,[3][4] Psycho-Man,[5] and the Sphinx.[6]”

“With several other Inhumans, Gorgon also battles the master villain Mandarin,[7] helps free Maximus,[8] journeys to America to search for the missing Black Bolt,[9] and battles Magneto.[10] Over the years, and with continued exposure to the outside world, Gorgon has many adventures, usually taking place in the company of fellow members of the Royal Family.[11]”
“The managers and employees are very dynamic and happy to provide good customer service, for some reason they have a large clientele of years who continue to consume there, in addition to selling food, sushi, hotdogs and the best street tacos, meat tacos. roasted, al pastor, roasted chicken and when lucky, golden brown tripe. Tijuana style and flavor taquitos can be found from Friday to Sunday”
“Nicest employees ever. Family owned business, you can tell they work hard and are dedicated to making their costumers happy. The mangos are so good btw. Overall 10/10?”
“The cleanest market I have ever shopped in! Friendly, always welcome you with a smile! I have always found everything I was looking for! Wonderful meat, carne asada delicious. Guacamole the best. They always have ripe avocados!! Several family members work there and always make you feel welcome and appreciated!”

COME HERE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ?”
“It's pretty pricey now but you'll find almost everything you need concerning dinner and bakery. I do recommend not to keep the meat in the fridge for more than 3days...freeze the meat that you won't cook right away or on the day of purchase.”
“This place has it all stop by and you find it all under the red bird market ,family ran ,and with a personal touch to every customer,so stop in and see how warm they welcome you, happy shopping friend.”
“I just came and was assisted by Maria at store 201 she was absolutely a delight to speak with. Not only was she kind and patient but she also asked if I needed any help with anything! She was very attentive thank you again! Peace and blessings your store needs more of this! Her overall attitude was positive and I will continue to come here hope she is here more often - Tanaya”
“I enjoy shopping here. The store is neat and has everything you'd need from pastries to groceries. They take EBT here and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this store for purchasing groceries, especially on a budget or with CalFresh.”
“It is one of my favorite markets, there I find everything: fresh food, very large sandwiches for an incredible price fruit ? vegetables, wines, special bread made there, juices and natural drinks, a huge assortment of vitamins, teas, very clean, bathrooms, parking, I highly recommend it from the moment you enter, everything is something you want. “Family owned business! Juan (the owner) is so nice and welcoming. They have an old school video rental program which is great and he also, provides printing services. You can even pick up a few essentials ie. Toilet paper, soap, soda, energy drinks and authentic Mexican candy. Go and support the small businesses in your community. Tell Juan I said hi!!”
“The 2 Brothers that work here are very courteous and friendly. I don't know what it is but, it is unusual to meet people so down to earth behind a liquor store counter. Great people and decent prices.”

“Not really crowed like most groceries stores. Good selection on most items. Produce is sometimes iffy but the location is perfect for us living in imperial Beach. They do charge a deposit fee for cans so we always go over to the Navy exchange to get pops, sodas and etc. Other than that, the facility's nice people are friendly and the bathrooms are clean.”
“Best grocery store!! Manager Kate truly cares about her products and staff. She treats every guest with the utmost courtesy and best sense of humor. The food is outstanding. Store is clean, well organized and stocked. The roasted chickens are savory and delicious.
Recently S&F on 4th introduced PADA Sushi, WOW!! Truly, outstanding fresh made and so flavorful. Bravo! ?
THANK YOU!! We love our S&F on 4th!!”
“Amazing local store that is just a few blocks away. Prices are fair and it is amazing to see tourists get cheap food instead of having to fork over tons of money.
Amazing store and location.”
“So the one thing I dislike about going to the store is that when I walk in let's say I'm going for some chicken, I don't come out with chicken I'll come out with way more than chicken like pots and pans”

“The Navy exchange auto port had most of what I wanted when I went there. I also visited the barbershop was very good, and I gassed up my vehicle before I left California all very good.”
“Joel at East Lake Sprouts was super helpful! He went above and beyond to assist me and made my shopping experience smooth and pleasant. Great customer service!””
“This Smart & Final location is a couple miles away from my home, but if need, I would drive to it despite the inconvenience (distance). It’s those traffic lights I have to go through just to get to this location.
This is still my go-to store for bulk items, primarily for special occasions. Between Chula Vista Costco or Smart & Final, it would be a toss up. I have to be in the mood to shop at either. Nonetheless, Smart & Final is still good for many reasons (price, stock, quality, cleanliness, and less crowds)??
Dislike: parking is too small and tight to drive out and about at this location
As for staff, nothing spectacular to note but they are readily available at the registers”
“Always busy. Popular place near the border crossing. Service is friendly. Lots of variety. I wish I could still get the dried papaya. They haven't had it for months.”
