If you are in dire need of clothes for your family, for a low low price. This place is for you. Otherwise, if you are a thrifting/ collector of fashion and don't mind digging through heaps of nothing to find that 1 treasure, go for it.... for specific brands, your best bet is to go to the actual retail stores. This is first come first serve. At around 1030, you are assigned a bin, maybe 6 people and at a time, so everyone gets a chance and if you don't find anything, that's it. All clothes and linens. I unfortunately did not enjoy this or find anything but don't let this review discourage you from doing your thing here.

It's 50/50. But I always walk away with some good stuff. For 22.50. Bring your own bag they charge .50 to .75 cents per. And be there on time for the totes because most of the good stuff will be gone within the first hour.

My Mom and I love to come here. I started going to a "bin" store in Oklahoma city while living there for the last couple years and when I moved back home this summer i couldn't wait to take my Mom to the bins here in San Diego (San yisdro) and show her how much fun it is. I was sad when I found out that things are a bit different here like there is three bin stores in San Diego county and each handles different types of donations. So San Yisdro has clothing and linens only but we find so many good items for a good deal. You can do a auction buy earlier in the mornings for a pallet of clothing but I haven't done that yet or in between 10:30am and 1pm you can buy clothing and shoes by the pound. I am still learning this store but what I am understanding is 35lbs and under is $22. Then 35lbs and up to 60 is $35. Shoes are $2 a pound. I might be wrong so check with a employee first before buying. We went two weeks ago and found a abundance of stuff in great or new condition. This morning when we went it was mostly poor condition and most should probably just be trashed. So it is different every time you go which makes it fun. Every time I go I can find stuff though you just have to dig to the bottom of the bin. I also shop for my family and not just me but I usually can find one thing for everyone.Have ? fun

Overall the people were nice. It was my first time there and I got scolded about going into a bin that was not assigned to me but I apologized for not knowing the rules. Unfortunately later they said nothing to people that kept dipping into my bin before I left and moved a new one. They don’t charge by the pound but anything 1-35 pounds is about $25-29.Shoes are charged separately. And from opening- 10 am is first sale; items are sold by the piece and if you find a designer label they charge more. And you can’t stay until 11 am when they start charging more by the pound. So if you only get 20 pounds you will still be paying the set amount of $25-29 as it is 1-35 pounds for minimum purchase. So beware and prepare to get at least 35 pounds so that you get more bang for your buck.FYI: they do have public bathrooms.

So my question is if you get there at 730 for the piece sale, can you just stay until 11 and put your things in a bin and purchase after 11 at the bin price?

Where do I start? I’ve been coming here for a while but recently prices went from $1 to $1.25. It might not seem like a lot, but those 25¢ do add up. Now, I don’t understand the reason for checking tags on clothes when checking out. Do the employees get anything out of it? Why does it matter? Either way, all the clothes end up at the bins, right before getting sent to a landfill. I don’t understand why the workers here care so much about what brand a shirt or sweater is. I also don’t understand why pants are over $3. Same with lingerie and corsets. Why do they hike up the price? At the end of the day, they ended up at a donation facility, a CLEARANCE one at that. I’m friends with a lot of people that shop here and we all agree that $3 is just not worth it for some items and decide to leave it. I don’t know why they’d rather be greedy and charge an unreasonable amount for a 1) used item, 2) stained/teared piece when they could’ve just charged 1.25 and call it a day. Now they’re stuck with something and have no money. I just don’t think it’s reasonable to care so much about certain items. Who cares if they’re “unique”. They ended up at the last resort and if it wasn’t for us, they’d be in a landfill. If you’re going to up charge might as well charge everything for the same price it does not make any sense to have different pricing for certain items.I’ve been to other outlet stores where they don’t care about what brands or items you have, you get what you get then pay. And that’s how it should be.This company is a multi billion dollar company yet they wanna charge almost retail for certain items.Goodwill relies on our money, if they keep taking advantage of us we will unionize and stop going. It’s insane to be taking advantage of people, especially people with small businesses who rely on their small business to survive.

Can't beat the prices. If you're willing to do some digging you will find some great clothes! Spaced out well.

So I’ve been here twice. I typically shop for clothes, not blankets. It was really frustrating after digging through bins for several hours and being advised that clothes were $1, that when we got to the counter, some items were $1, $2, and $5. I told the cashier I would not pay $5 and she took the item and stashed it under the counter for herself. If this happens the next time I go, I’m going to speak with a manager.

Visit outlet on 11-5-2021. Place was clean , workers were friendly, took home 30lbs. For 19.00 lot of great items, few with tags. Outlet needs to stay open longer

Showed up during posted store hours, kicked out since it was supposedly closed at 12:00pm. The posted hours say it closes at 4pm.

First time going today. Found some good items and only paid $16 for a full bag of clothes. Recommendations that I will also use for next time. Bring gloves. Idk why I didn’t think do that but most of the clothes are not washed so for sanitary reasons being gloves. Also get there early. Those people are savages and had piles upon piles of clothes already by the time I got there so I was left with scraps. Also DO NOT take your kids. They will yell at you and wave you away saying “outside” if you take a kid. Good luck.

we got there before 4:30 which is the time it says it closes. we went to the entrance and a worker there stopped us and told us it was closed. even though there were people in the building. i believe there was an underlying reason to this. homophobia. this store has lost good and valuable customers.
