My daughter attended this preschool in May of last year when she was 4 years old. Due to the pandemic, my daughter hadn’t attended any preschool before turning four, and she was a bit apprehensive about meeting new people. Since we speak other language in home, and she only knew a few words in English. However, after six months, my daughter can understand and speak a lot of English and has also learned various life skills. Now she can count and writes numbers up to 100, recognize all 24 English letters, and perform addition and subtraction with two-digit numbers. It’s impressive how quickly she’s adapted and learned! The teachers genuinely care about the kids. They make an effort to engage each child individually, fostering growth and development. It’s heartwarming to see my daughter excited about going to preschool every day. The facility is clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The teachers design creative and age-appropriate lessons that capture the children’s interest. From storytelling and art projects to hands-on science experiments, they make learning fun and exciting. Overall, I highly recommend this preschool. It truly feels like a home away from home for the kids.

The Redwood International Montessori (TRIMONT) is a preschool for which we are truly grateful. Our daughter had had several behavioral issues until July of last year, and in the previous preschools, when a child had a behavioral problem, the teacher reacted negatively and stimulated the child further, making the problem worse. After much consideration and research, we decided to move to TRIMONT starting in August of last year, and it was a very wise decision for us.After moving to this preschool, my child's various problems improved noticeably thanks to the experienced teachers who guided kids in a gentle yet authoritative voice, and were very patient. Also, the calm atmosphere at school made my child feel more comfortable and ease. A kid who hated school life until then said, "I like to go to school" after coming to TRIMONT.Overall this school follows Montessori way of teaching well, which I like about, and at the same time, they use general academic method for pre-K students to have them prepared for kindergarten. Pre-K students practice hand writing everyday, read many books, and learn addition/subtraction in math. Teachers don't force kids to learn, but rather they respect kids' opinion and encourage them to learn one by one. Until August of last year, we worried about whether our daughter would be able to properly adapt to kindergarten. But now in Kindergarten, which began this August, she has adapted very well, and we were happy to see that she was well prepared for kindergarten both mentally(emotionally) and academically. Its playground has an abundant sand-play area, and kids can ride bicycles alongside various kitchen play tools. The director Ms. Annagi, Ms. Laxmi, Ms. Yussemia, Ms. Evelyn and Ms. Mariella are all great teachers, and they always lead children patiently and gently with abundant wisdom. Also, they are always open to discuss or communicate about kids or any other concerns.I am truly grateful that my child attended TRIMONT, and I would recommend it to others as well.

Our son started at Redwood International Montessori 2 years ago. He is 4 now and is flourishing at school. He can write from 1-50, knows quite a bit of Spanish, "reads" to the other kids and has learned so much more than I could've anticipated. He's an outgoing child and likes to goof around. The teachers give him space to be silly and can also authoritatively but compassionately reign him in. I know he'll be more than prepared for Kindergarten. The teachers also plan family events throughout the year such as Mothers and Fathers Day celebrations, concerts, grandparents day, and student birthday celebrations. They incorporate many days where the kids can bring items from home to share (such as hike day at school, bring your favorite book, etc.). Our son is always excited for these days. The location of the school is very convenient for our family. It's near 680 but not so close that you hear it. It's across the street from an area with swim lessons, gymnastics lessons, and indoor soccer, so our son always says "hi" to his school when we're going to activities there. Tuition is very comparable to other preschools, but this school offers helpful drop-off and pick-up times for two working parents. Not many preschools in the area offer the same times.

This school has a teacher who makes the children cry, my son told me on several occasions that he no longer wanted to attend. (Parents, pay attention when the children say something to him

Our daughter is 4.5 year old and started TRIMONT(The Redwood International Montessori) 4 months ago. Long story short, after 4 months, more than 2/3 of her behavioral items, such as tantrum, difficulty in listening instructions, sharing with friends, etc, have been fixed and I can tell that even at our home. Our daughter loves her school, and is happy to go there everyday. The director Ms. Annagi has almost 40 years of experience in Montessori education. Other teachers (Ms. Yessania, Ms. Laxmi, Ms. Evelyn) are also very experienced. They know how to deal with problems of kids, and they guide kids to the right path without yelling or being frustrated. I saw that their tone of voice was calm but had discipline and charisma.Teachers are very communicative and always opened to discuss issues of children. If there's any issue, they give brief verbal report with advice when I pick her up.Also, the education of TRIMONT is well-balanced and well-organized. They give the monthly schedule filled with daily themes and focuses, and follow the schedule accordingly. Of course since it's Montessori school, each student learns by their own pace when it comes to phonics, math and other Montessori work, but they all learn various topics together which covers science, culture, art, geography, season, etc. Our 4.5 year old daughter already reads Kindergarten-level books, recognizes and writes numbers from 1-50, can even complete addition and subtraction. When we had a private conference before Thanksgiving holidays, they gave us a thorough assessment sheet about our daughter. We could easily understand her status and things she needs to learn more until Kindergarten.I'm very satisfied with TRIMONT, and would definitely recommend this school to others in area.

Our daughter joined here this year. We adopted her earlier this year and at 5 she came to the US with no formal exposure to any form of schooling. When we spoke to Teacher Anagi, before deciding to send her to Redwood Intl Montessori, she was very confident that the Montessori way of teaching will be able to make a difference and help her adapt to the schooling system quickly. Within 4 months, our daughter has done so well under the care of Teacher Lakshmi, Teacher Yesenia and Teacher Evelyn. The teachers are compassionate, loving and very attentive towards the children. They are very thorough in their approach towards education and life in general. We are very sure that by the end of the school year, our daughter will be ready for first grade and beyond.

We have been a part of this school community for 3.5 years now, with my two oldest kids attending here, and we couldn't be happier! The staff is so welcoming, energetic, and patient. They do an amazing job of loving on your kids, while teaching them to be independent, too. I am so pleased with the Montessori program they run and am amazed at the things my kids come home saying they learned. The school teaches such a variety of topics to the kids - from units of study on every continent, science lessons, letters of the week, to different languages, life skills, and yoga (my daughter's favorite). I'm so impressed with how well they meet the learning needs of all the students. Each child has an individualized notebook where they keep track of the child's progress and things they are learning. This approach served both my kids so well, as one learned quickly and could then explore more challenging content, while the other often needed more time and wasn't forced to move onto something new without mastery of a previous concept. We have loved the family potlucks, student concerts, and barbeques and will miss this community so much as our daughter goes off to kindergarten next year. Our youngest is currently attending their infant center and we are excited for him to start here when he gets older.

Fabulous find! The director is an engineer(a mommy first) who cares passionately about the Montessori curriculum & social & academic development of the children. We were so fortunate to come across this school after trying a chain & private owned preschools in the San Ramon/Pleasanton/Danville area. At one school, I was told my 4 year old was not prepared for Kindergarten. Once she started here, she was writing and doing multiplication in no time! I still have a box of work from both of my kids. Our 2 yr. old son advanced here socially and academically; the best part is that they both LOVED going to school here compared to the other part-time and full-time options we tried in the area. What a gem with the most nurturing, clean, stimulating environment! My son still talks about his "old school" and his teacher Rebecca almost 2 years later! We moved back east and have not yet found a school as good as this one, nor we will ever.
