Staff is nice but unskilled. One of the most uneven haircuts I’ve received. I had to walk out with the fear that cutting more would make me look worse. I showed my barber a picture of the haircut I wanted with a very slight adjustment but it came out looking completely different. My fade was clearly not a fade as there was no attention paid to blending it in I would much rather call it a staircase. My barber used the trimmer like a lawn mower while I asked her to take out an inch she removed a good 2 inches. Don’t even let me get started about the back because saying hideous would be an understatement. I’m not one for giving reviews but I strongly believe this one was warranted. I would 100% not recommend unless you want a buzz cut but there’s probably better places for that too. I would not even value this haircut at $20 but paying $30 for it is ridiculous. Don’t be blinded by how nice the staff is if you care about your hair you will not go here.
Requested style: Medium length modern mullet for wavy/curly hair.

Very professional hair stylists. Nice and clean shop but you need to book at least 2-3 hours ahead to get an appointment. My son and I love going to this place.

I've only been here once roughly about a year or so ago and had a very pleasant experience (I wish I could remember the name of the stylist who gave me a cut that day), but haven't been back to this place since until today. My normal barber shop is closed today and I needed a quick cut before tomorrow so I remembered the awesome experience I had at this store the first time I came here long ago. So I decided to go and get a cut here especially since it is close to my house. I was a "In-Store (walk-in)/First Available" customer and I was aware of others who have scheduled online and were ahead of me according to their board on the wall so I was cool with the wait. However, a "Walk-in/First Available" customer walked in later than me and signed in...just as I did when I first arrived and they were serviced before me. I let that go and just told myself that it's okay and maybe they'll get me next. Unfortunately it happened a few more times where they skipped me. After sitting there waiting for over 40 mins and getting skipped multiple times, I decided enough was enough and called around and found an open barber shop who said they could take me in when I get there. So after wasting over 40 minutes at Sports Clips, I left feeling discriminated against. As I walked out the door, they didn't even say anything. It's almost as if they didn't want my business in the first place or didn't want to give me a cut...at least that's what it felt like to me. Maybe it's the way I was dressed? Or maybe they judge their customers and pick and choose who they want to service despite having an appointment/walk-in "system" in place and literally on their wall. Who knows? Well whatever the case may be, it doesn't matter because I won't be coming here again and I will be sure to let my family, friends, and co-workers never visit this or any other Sports Clips again. If this is how they do business at Sports Clips, then no thanks. If you live in San Ramon and are in a pinch for a quick cut, I would recommend J&J The Barbershop in Dublin. It's the place I went to today after leaving Sports Clips in absolute disappointment. It's a bit of a drive if you live in San Ramon, but it's definitely worth it. At J&J Barbershop, you'll pay less, get a better cut, be welcomed and treated with kindness and respect, and wait a lot less than you do at Sports Clips. Well that was my experience today at Sports Clips. If you decide to go there, then I truly hope you have a better experience than I did. But I assure you, J&J Barbershop in Dublin is far better than Sport Clips in San Ramon.

Discussed my needs on the phone with Sport Clops prior to visiting. Due to a surgery, cannot use my right arm as I’ve my shoulder in a sling, Explained needed wash, comb out and a braid. Went twice and was very satisfied with Ellie. Went 3rd time after calling to see if Ellie was in, and was told “yes”. Got there and she was not in. Another person took me and did a wash a bit of towel drying and refused to braid my hair. Spoke to manager who said she told Ellie to tell me they could not do my hair any more, which I was NOT told. Manager was rude, saw me come in the shop with my arm in a sling, and said nothing until after when my hair was already washed. Poor service

Huge shout-out to Danielle (business manager) who took her time to fix a not so great haircut my kid previously got and was upset about. She was very responsive, attentive to details, and kind as she fixed my kid's haircut. She not only made it look a lot better, she made him feel seen and heard. Sport Clips San Ramon never disappoints! I have been coming in for a few years. Recently Danielle has been my go to stylist she really cares about her clients never rushes and over all an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a great relaxing hair cut. Serio

My experience at 120 Market Pl, San Ramon, CA 94583, was extremely disappointing. They have a seriously flawed waitlist management system, and unfortunately, this is the second time it has happened to me. I spent almost two hours at the salon, only to be removed from the waitlist after being placed on deck not once, but twice. They prioritized haircuts for others ahead of me in the queue, and when I raised this concern, instead of addressing it appropriately, they placed me back in line for the third time. When I inquired about the reason for these repeated issues, the staff member, Danielle, displayed a very poor attitude and handled the situation poorly. I would strongly advise you to choose some other place.
