“Paige was the one who reached out to me when I first walked into the store. She is very knowledgeable and she first measured both of my feet. I thought I was a 101/2 but it turns out my shoes were cramping my toes and the correct size I needed was 11. My podiatrist wears Hoka and that was the brand I selected. She allowed me to walk around the store a few times and my feet never felt better. I have Achilles tendinitis in my right heel and I felt to pain or irritation. I love the foam sole and great arch support. I have experienced a new way of walking on air. Paige is a tri athlete and very knowledgeable about walking and running shoes. The store has a great selection of various top rated brands. I will definitely be coming back due to the personalized service and fair prices.”

“I hate shopping. Especially at the outlets. Shopping in this store has changed my mind a bit about it. I went to the vans store for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing selection of shoes for Toddlers. Most stores have very little for infants/toddlers but they have a huge selection. The great customer service was unexpected since most employees at other stores seem annoyed you are there and often sigh deeply when you ask them a question or need help. Or they racially profile you and follow you around or eye you suspiciously as though you’re trying to steal. Alison was super helpful and friendly. It’s a very clean and organized store even on the weekend when it was busy. I’ll definitely be back.”

“Thanks to Tim at Athletic Outpost I can hike steep hills again without knee pain. After studying my stride, patiently listening to my issues and what activities I do, he outfitted me in a pair of shoes with a trail hiking vibram sole and a pair of compression calve sleeves. Made a world of difference. I can hike steep trails again without needing to resort to a knee brace or hiking poles. Or pain relieving meds afterwards. I am so grateful!”

“I highly recommend The Cobblers. I've had these Koolaburra Ugg boots for over 20 years!! The soles were completely worn out and so dirty. I couldn't just toss them away because you can't find boots like these, especially with the back braid . I had the pleasure to meet Dino. Such a nice man!! He had them for a week. He cleaned them up and added new soles and inserts. I wish I had taken before pics. These were a mess. I was amazed how clean they came out. Very reasonable prices . Highly recommend Also bought a cute pair of moccasins, too !! Thank you, Dino.”

“I came across a beautiful peacoat while perusing their Walnut Creek store location while visiting family in Northern California for the holidays. I wasn't 100% sure I wanted that coat as it was the first one I tried on and I like to shop around.Fast forward to a month later and after trying on more than 20 coats from all sorts of designers, I was certain that I wanted the specific R&G jacket, but I couldn't find it in my size online or at any southern California location.I called the Walnut Creek store and one of their reps, Nikki, was so gracious and helpful. Between shipping and payment logistics, it wasn't the easiest transaction to coordinate, but Nikki totally took care of me.So big shout out to Nikki and kudos to Rodd and Gunn for doing an excellent job fostering great customer service. A wonderful showing of the best of New Zealand.”

“They have the exact pair of shoes that I ever love at Skechers. Same design same line, but… same price(?). It’s disappointing that their price is not lower since this is 2 year old design and it’s an outlet store, but I guess popular ones would never have discount.
I’m just glad to find a replacement because I bought mine 2 years ago in Canada. Got some discount BOGO50% for the second pair for my son, and 10% for new membership signup.”

“Online shopping is my go-to nowadays, but if I knew every in-person shopping experience was going to be like the one I had today, I would shop in-person way more often. I was helped today by Priya, and she was so helpful and kind. I felt like I had a personal shopping assistant. Trying on jeans is not always super fun, but she made me feel great and helped me find items that were the best fit. I will definitely be coming back.”
