I am sorry to say but the experience I had today at both the San Ramon store and the Danville store was horrible. I have had an excellent experience in the Pleasanton store and did not go there only because their systems were down. The San Ramon store associate started to put in our orders and just abruptly asked is to go to the Danville store as a few more customers came.in.The Danville store associate was.least interested in working, not even listening and just asked us to go back to San Ramon. this happened this morning on 07/03/2022. Sherwin Williams ha e an excellent product and hopefully the store associates at San Ramon and Danville can do a better job

The best Sherwin Williams store in this area hands down. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to help you and make sure you are not waiting too long.

I happened to stop by here after leaving another paint store across the store. They had so much stuff in stock which was great!! They had the manager and another employee working, Noah, and they were both SO helpful and knowledgeable. They worked in tandem together and were able to help each customer or at least acknowledge each customer walking through the door. I bought 3 paint colors and some painting supplies. I will be heading back there for future projects! Excellent customer service and well stocked.

I have come here a couple times in the past but I had a terrible experience this last weekend and had to share as I will most likely never return! I am working on a DIY dining table project with my dad and we have been on the hunt for the perfect stain to compliment my furniture! We have gone to every store under the sun looking for a perfect color to stain our wood. In the past, we have used Sherwin WIlliams for a custom stain matching DIY project where the perfect match was very important to us. This time around, we more so just wanted to find a stain that looked decent on the pine wood we were working with before fully committing and buying a big pint of stain! We decided to stop into SW at the last minute as we were driving home from Home Depot in hopes of some help. The shop looked completely empty and honestly we were about to leave because we thought the shop was closed upon first glance after pulling into the parking lot! When we entered, there was a younger gentleman working the front desk who was hands down the least helpful worker I have ever encountered! My dad and I asked him about 8 questions about stains, brushes, paint can sizes, and sampling of stain on our specific wood...all of which he responded in about 3 words and urged us to figure things out ourselves. We were looking for some guidance on which stain might be a good option given our previous lack of success. Specifically, we wanted to make sure we were purchasing a promising color given SW only sells huge cans of stain. Unfortunately, the worker did not bother to engage in the conversation or even get up from his chair to come check out the stains and our project needs! After about 5 minutes of prying for answers, my dad and I looked at each other with extreme disappointment. We walked out of the store and concluded that this worker would be 0 help to us and our needs. I would have appreciated any interest or enthusiasm towards our requests given we were more than willing to give SW our business if we would have received a bit more help. I would give this place an even lower rating but did not do so solely because I have had 1 positive experience in the past. My dad and I worked on a previous DIY floating shelves project and a kind women at Sherwin Williams did a fantastic job with assisting us and matching our stain perfectly! I recommend that the managers at SW take a look at the staff and provide some better training as to how customers should be approached and treated...I will be taking my business to Kelley Moore, ACE, Richerts, Home Depot, or really anywhere else after this experience!
