“Nice little store and I was sold on how fresh and delicious the kimchi is here which will keep me coming back to stock up lol. I tried some of the frozen goods and soups too and loved em. Definitely some things I haven't seen typically sold at grocers (soondae, haejang...). Great place, friendly people working here as well.”
“We were told about this market about seven years ago by a resident of Castro Valley. We have gone back many times. We frequent them for their meat market (absolutely wonderful). They have a unique blend of “speciality items”. As a trained Chef, I enjoy going there to purchase any speciality items I might desire.I must be honest, I don’t shop there on a regular basis. I do shop there when I am preparing for a dinner party. I do go there when I desire a wonderful cut of beef, Lamb or Pork.An example is three years ago, I desired a Prime Rib Roast. I desire a specific cut of meat… and a cut that might have been different from what I could get from the local markets.I stopped at Al’s, spoke to one of the butchers, explained what I desired, how it was going to be prepared.I paid for my order and two weeks later, picked up my purchase. I must say, it was one of the better cuts of beef I ever had purchased. Our guests for dinner raved. Generally, In order to prepare great food, one must have great ingredients. Is Al’s market cheap? Nope.If I want cheap, I’ll go to Walmart and make do.Does Al’s market meet a need? Yep, they do.Try them, I’m certain you will love them.”
“AMAZING customer service!!! The food was great. Store was very clean great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this store. Quick service fresh food and friendly people! You can't ask for more from a restaurant.”
“Very good place to shop at for your groceries. It does lack some basic items or the quality of some items could be better. They are under new ownership/management and I think it is for the best. The previous owner were getting old and careless. In fact, the meat department stunk up the entire store like unfresh meat & blood. Now it doesn't smell as bad, it seems like they're working on that. In case the owners weren't aware of this stench, it is very real. Please continue to work on it. Overall cleanliness, pretty good. Customer service, good.Wide range of inventory”
“If your ever in the area, you must go visit Yeyo's! A local neighborhood meat market. Service is great! All the butchers work the line, and get you outta there pretty quick. Small isles, but they have almost everything! Produce they have that too! Oh and don't forget the fresh bread, and goodies right when you walk in. On a busy time it may be a struggle to get a parking but we'll worth it. Great customer service, and affordable prices.”

They also have a grocery store connected to the restaurant, with Middle Eastern and Indian food that you can't find in normal grocery stores. They cater as well if you want to serve a large party or work event!”

“Rahma has been a go to for many years - the cleanest smelling Halal meat shop in the Bay Area. Some personal favorites for me are their hot dogs and halal chicken rotisserie. It’s not the cheapest but the extra cost is worth the value in most cases I think”
“Lately I went to buy flank steak and the cut is very good, it is whole and in 2 cuts it is a pound or medium and I like that. Besides, it has a very good flavor, the marinated flank steak is 100% recommended”
