Aimee Poling and Kenny Wong at loanDepot are Simply the Best! Aimee Poling and Kenny Wong provided the best rate by a long shot! They also made the loan process much more understandable and easier than other loan agents I have worked with. They proactively helped me understand what was needed and how to provide it. They always kept me in the loop so I knew where we were in the loan process and what the time frame was for completing the loan. They helped me complete the loan process in the quickest way possible and they were always available for questions, no matter how trivial. Both Aimee Poling and Kenny Wong are at the top of their field and I look forward to working with them again on our next loan.

Avoid this company at all costs. Sleazy and slimy. The agent we worked with repeatedly assured us that he would obtain us a certain rate and after delaying to the point that we had no choice but to go with LD switched the rate on us at the last minute. AVOID.

This company can't deliver on their commitments. Ten days after funding, although my prior mortgage is paid off, my cash out is still "pending" and they are using my money while I accrue interest costs. Loan Depot took 4 months to complete the process and is still offering up excuses as to why they cannot perform. I would NOT use this company to pay off a loan shark, much less a reputable bank. Save the frustration of dealing with LoanDepot and go to a real bank for a mortgage refinance.

Absolutely ridiculous experience after waiting for 4 months where they did not keep up with what their agent committed to delivering. When pointed out they say they will take it as an improvement in training. Save yourself a good amount of time by picking any lender then going with this loandepot.

My loan process is with underwriter for over 2 and half months. emailed/called them so many times and every-time answer is it will be close in 1 week. What a poor process with them, I did a mistake to start loan process with loanDepot, should have done with regular banks.Update: No response from customer care, emailed them 2 weeks back.

I submitted a request for a HELOC through Lending Tree. I was contacted by Dave Pollock from Loan Depot. After answering a bunch of his questions, he tells me he only offers a refinance or home equity loan product. He the wants me to explain WHY I want a HELOC. When he didn't like the answer he got, he hung up on me!!! Really? Never, ever, do business with this company. They could care less about their customers and they will hang up on you as thanks for inquiring about their product.
