Very knowledgeable and willing to help! In their busy schedule and although they weren’t accepting new clients, Hunter still went out of his way and took a few minutes to answer my tax questions on phone. Very polite and professional and highly recommended!

Aaron, Daniel and team are a pleasure to work with. My last CPA retired a few years ago and I have been working with Hunter Tax for our business tax returns and other tax related services ever since. I met with Aaron the CPA yesterday to discuss tax questions I had regarding selling my rental property in California. Aaron did some quick calculations and gave me an estimate of taxes I would owe from selling the property. Aaron also went over a couple of other options including a 1031 Exchange or establishing the property as my principal residence before selling in order to reduce the tax burden. Aaron is very knowledgeable in real estate taxes and gave me some good advises. I was pleased with the experience with Hunter Tax Associates. Thank you Aaron. Very rude and irresponsible. I booked a phone appointment using their website. Due to the time difference I had to stay up late for it. Then when I called, I was told they didn't take any client now. I was to say I already made an appointment, but the guy on the other side of the phone just said bye and hang up, not even bothered to say sorry or explain that the online appointment system is not updated.

It's my first visit to the Hunter Tax Associates in San Ramon. The location was convenient and the staff member, like Daniel was very polite. Although I only had a relatively simple tax return question, the office was able to schedule me in to talk with a tax consultant in person on the same day. Speaking of their tax consultant, Arron, who was the epitome of professionalism and gave me his honest professional advice tailored to my personal circumstances. I was sold and he was one of the best tax consultants I ever met. Definitely, will use his service again in the future and will recommend his services to anyone I know. Aaron was referred to me by another client of his and I am so glad that he was! He's professional, courteous and helpful - but also straightforward and gets the job (aka your taxes) done right! I appreciate how on top of it he is, he sends reminder emails to get him your documents and complies everything easily and quickly. I really appreciate his responsiveness too - any time I have had a question, he takes the time to either respond or call me to walk me through anything I don't understand. His office is conveniently located in San Ramon - lots of parking and easy to find. I will continue to use and refer Aaron!

You're here because you're looking for a CPA. Look no further. I've worked with Aaron two years now and I can't rave about him more. He's fast, professional, and super reasonable. My previous CPA screwed up and I ended up paying three times what Aaron charges just in her fees. He answers emails immediately and explains things to me in words I can understand. My consultancy decided to use him this year and we're shocked at how quickly he worked and the refund he was able to get us. Navigating the PPP loans was something we dreaded, tax wise. We ended the year on a really positive note. Hire Aaron and you will not be disappointed!

This is my 4th year using Aaron after having moved to the East Bay 5 years ago and having my previous CPA fall off the planet apparently. I've been W-2 and self employed concurrently, self employed, late to get my info to him before the deadline and Aaron has always accommodated my needs when filing my taxes. Is he busy as heck after the first of the year? Yeah. What CPA isn't. Even currently with his full tax season load he's taken some time to help my wife and I navigate some other relevant matters.
