For a first time visit they cut exactly how much I asked for. I would have given 5 stars but they went a little too dark on color for roots. No harm no fowl.

I made the mistake of not reading the poor reviews before giving my business to this salon. I would give 0 stars if it were possible. I dropped off my daughter to this salon for a shampoo and blowout for her prom. My daughter showed a photo of how she wanted her hair done. Jolie, the hairstylist sent her back with a disastrous hairstyle as seen in the photos. Some sections of the hair were curled, some left straight at the back. In the front, one side was curled and the other left unstyled. After washing, no heat protectant was used. My daughter is a newly minted 18 year old and did not realize that a heat protectant is a must before heat application. Is this not basic ABC for a trained stylist? It is easy to fool teenagers and young adults who may not know better, but where are the work ethics to do the right thing anyway, regardless of who is watching? Shame! As per my daughter, Jolie never used a hairbrush and a flat iron together to straighten the hair first, rather grabbed chunks of hair and started making ringlets. Some of the hair at the bottom was left untouched. Jolie insists that she asked my daughter at every step, which is ridiculous because my daughter asked for straight hair with only the ends curled(see the first photo). One cannot see the back of one's own head during a haircut to micromanage the stylist at every step. It is the stylist's job to ensure that the client's ask is respected and met. My daughter was charged $65 for this mess (shampoo and blowout only). Our family will avoid this place like the plague in future. Are the owners reading these reviews? Probably not.

I like it that never has traffic. They have enough people to serve the current customers and awaiting time as close to zero. The folks employed here are quite seasoned and they know they take the time to understand the customers requirements. I have been here for over half a dozen times and I've never been disappointed with the results.

Went for a hair cut. She did a good hair cut. But I had a severe itching and redness to the point it's hurting. Either she used it too hard or something wrong with the trimmer. I have never gotten it in prior cuts at other places.

Shady place. I’m thinking the workers may be stealing money from the owner.Visited around 5pm on 10/24. As soon as I went in, the first thing the lady said is they don’t accept cards because there isn’t any change to give. I was confused. Told her if I used card, I wouldn’t need change. She then said yes the machine is fine, but there’s no change in the drawer, so if I used card payment to give tips, they can’t get cash from the drawer for the tip. Makes sense….BUT, I then told them that’s fine, because I have cash change. Will pay with card and give exact cash for the tips. She then changed the story and said no they just can’t take the card and I have to pay cash. While at the same time, there was a small pile of cash sitting behind the counter…. She then gave me the run around that didn’t make sense at all, and speaking gibberish I can’t understand.Anyhow. Something wasn’t right there, but I got a haircut nonetheless, because I had cash, and a lot of hair to be cut since I’ve been busy.She then proceed to cut my hair. Within less than 4 mins, she said I was done. Was a bit surprised. She rushed me out of my seat, and didn’t let me check the back of my hair or anything. I did a quick visual check while she try to lead me to the front to pay. I paid, and that was that.Got home, noticed one side of my head is cut, and a portion of the other side uneven.No point going back if I’ll be dealing with the 2 shady ladies there. If management / ownership is reading this perhaps you can address this. But I would not be going if those 2 ladies are there.

one of the worst hair cut places. I had gone some days ago to this salon - fantastic sam at bollinger canyon san ramon. the lady who did my hair cut was a middle aged to older and I think a middle eastern lady with her seat on the right side as you enter the place. she was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. VERY RUDE she made my bangs a disaster. When I was telling her few pointers at the start of the hair cut. she tells me RUDELY she has been cutting hair for a long time and she knows how to do it. tells me this very RUDELY. Its my hair and I want it done well , and then she RUINS it. I cant even tell her some pointers? For My OWN Hair?? her name is NAHID which I got from her male colleague named Lee. she was not giving her name. then few days later, I spoke to a nice man named Lee who told me her name is NAHID. DO NOT GO TO NAHID. SHE IS the WORST. SHE MESSED MY HAIR. SHE IS RUDE AND DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR. It did not stop there. Then when I was leaving even with the bad treatment and bad hair cut I got, I tipped her 20%,even though NAHID ruining my hair cut. she is not happy with 20%. WOW ! she tells me other customers tip her at least 25%. this is a TIP IS NOT mandatory and NAHEED RUINED my hair. me giving her a tip is good enough and that too 20%. DISGUSTING and terrible lady NAHID. thank you Lee for giving me her name.

Cut hair much shorter than requested. Especially the back. Over priced compared to other haircuts with default for top starting at 20%.

I went in for a trim on my bob hair cut. I told the stylist exactly what I wanted: cut 1/2 inch off the bottom, and she proceeded to chop away at my hair until I had nothing left. I even asked her mid way through if she was cutting layers into the back, which I did not want. She said, " I know how to do this hair cut." It's awful, I will never go back.

The employee are the worst especially when you walk into their business at 6:30 PM when they close at 7 PM. They need to know that people do speak multiple languages and they do understand when you walk into the business and they curse a paying customer and make them feel not welcome. Good luck running such a business where you are walking in and feel that they doing you a huge favor by rendering a service. Very bad business policy . I hope the owner reads the reviews. This incident happened at 6:25 PM on 05/31 in case you want to know who these employees are.
