It was hard to get in. Waitlisted for almost 4 months before being told the summer session was starting and we would have to reapply to be on the waitlist (if we didn't get into a class). However, I got on at midnight of the summer session sign ups for new customers and got both of my kiddos in. So besides that hurdle, we're a month in and my kids are hooked. My oldest hasn't been very interested in sports (and we have tried a lot over the years). Gymnastics was one she actually asked to do. She's building skills and gaining confidence. My youngest (we're in the parent participation class) loves it. I love being right there for her when she completes a new task. So much pride. Ms. Erika is fun and enthusiastic with the littles. Excited to see the girls grow There are no more pandemic restrictions.

It's been a long time since I took gymnastics. My sister's and I went to this school from when I was 2 until I was a little over 13 years old. Unfortunately for us, our dad got sick and mom couldn't afford the classes anymore. Years later we visited the gym and got to see all our old coaches and it was great. The best lesson I ever learned from them was to never say that I "can't" do something; I might not have been able to do it at the time, but there was nothing that any of us couldn't do.I can see the place has changed their facility around, but I know their program and their dedication to motivate kids to challenge themselves, work in a team environment, and to push themselves while maintaining safety, and keeping it fun. This is a great school with great coaches and I've missed them ever since I left. IF you can control yourself from throwing tantrums, and treating your kids like they're made of glass, and thinking that just because you say so the gym should bend the rules because you ignored any prior warnings, then this is the school for you. Everything I learned there helped me in school and kept me in shape for all my other recreational activities. And on a more personal note, I just want to say I was upset when I saw the bad reviews about this place, and I want to point out that this gym has worked with thousands of kids over the years. Kids who are capable of listening, following directions, and getting along with their teammates and that any special accommodations they make to help a child should be appreciated (and maybe taken as a sign that you're lacking some parenting skills). Just saying. . .

I was thinking about enrolling my daughter into this program but reading the reviews have strongly discouraged me. It isn't the customers perspective that's discouraging, It's the business owners response to the negative reviews. Unprofessional, refuse to take accountability, doesn't see error to improve the mistakes made. Clearly from the business owners response to concerns, I wouldn't enroll my child here. This isn't a developmental program but an activity center.

Despite the poor reviews on other sites, we gave this gym a try because it was closer to home. It did not take long for us to see what others warned of. Impersonal, overly aggressive and impatient instruction. Being a national gymnast, my wife observed substandard coaching and a staff driven by emotion. The final straw for us was having to call the police when one of the staff started yelling at us.

We attended Diablo Gymnastics pre-Covid and were very excited when in-person classes re-opened this past Summer. My twin girls really enjoy the exercises they are working on and I have noticed the growth and progression as the skills are practiced and refined over time. As this is an indoor sport, Covid protocols are taken seriously and while that's not a huge factor for me, I know some people would really appreciate that. The team seems like one big family and from what I can tell, they have a long-established rapport and that is evident in the way they care for us as their students and families. We are excited to see where the gymnastics journey will take them.

We started off with Diablo's summer camp as soon as I got word they were opening up summer camps. My daughter loved it. She now goes weekly and aside from not being able to see her progress in the gym, what she shares/shows at home I can see she found her passion!

The administration is terrible especially Miss Patti. She is rude and doesnt know how to properly address issues. My older daughter has been going there for abt 6 yrs. when my younger decided to try gymnastics i sent her there. They never sent me an authorization form for my second and approached my kid in class to say i wasnt paid up. Yet my older one has never been late paying. It was humiliating for my 9 year old. Miss Patti was rude and offered no apology

My kids love this place! I'm also very happy to find an activity that both my kids (5 and 3) can take at the same time but at their own level. The coaches are great and they really love what they do.

My daughter started gymnastics here in September 2017. She loved her coach, Tessa and even after breaking her arm at school (unrelated), she came back and quickly leveled up. My daughter has worked with other great coaches throughout this time, Erika, Amanda, Gracie, Jeena, Sydney, and now Faustina. I really love this place & so does my daughter. All of the coaches are so helpful and you can tell they are very passionate in their teaching/training of the younger generation. They have so many ways to get kids to focus on the small details of techniques so the skill can be mastered. [Although, I do have to add that each kids individual growth will depend on how much they practice outside of their sessions, and/or how invested the parents are in their learning/mastering of the skills and techniques.] The environment is welcoming. They have a small shop in the office if you'd like to purchase leotards, biketards, shorts, scrunchies, etc. and parents can even help themselves to a cup of coffee. There are two viewing areas for parents; bleachers on the main level and an upper level viewing area with padded folding chairs that has books & toys for other children who may not be participating. There's also a smaller back gym area and that area also has a small viewing area. They offer recreational classes, summer programs, mens/boys classes (I think, I haven't needed to inquire about this), and even private 1-on-1 coaching sessions. Class sizes are manageable and they offer a wide range of days/time slots for sessions, depending on the skill level. They recently repainted the entire gym to update the space and all their equipment looks well maintained. Diablo does have a few different levels of competitive teams. They also host annual events so the kids can showcase their efforts & everything they've been practicing to family/friends. I highly recommend this gym. If you and/or your child(ren) are on the fence. Don't hesitate, go and talk to the office. They offer a free trial class so you can see if it will be a good fit.

We used to enjoy bringing our daughters here to learn. We now have a younger gymnast and are pulling her out. The level of instruction has diminished. The teen instructors do not give the detail instruction needed. Kids bored and not learning. Very disappointed. Kids only advance based on age and not capability. Very cookie cutter program and not geared to kids capabilities or maturity.
