They say they will contact my doctor about medication and then they forget until I go back days later only to find out they have not done it

I went into the CVS Rx located within the Target Store on Sunday, November 19, 2023, and the beautiful Pharm.D. failed to properly address me or show compassion for me as a patient/customer. I’m no Prima Donna, but when I tell you that this Pharm.D. was going over my Rx while I was signing the credit card bad, failed to ask me if I had any questions, and then just walked away, I was truly taken aback. As an attorney I know that we have Ethics rules that we must abide by or risk losing our license to practice law. I’m confident that when you earn your doctorate in Pharmacology, there are similar ethics rules and this Pharmacist failed to adhere to them. Finally, I had just come from the ER and was feeling weak, dizzy, extremely fatigued. I thought that I had COVID-19 and because I’d never had it before, because my immune system is severely compromised I likely would have either perished or had a very long recovery. I was extremely grateful when Dr. Randeep Thiara, came back to my room to advise that all the tests came back to reveal that I had Influenza A. At 60 years-old, I can’t recall the last time I felt so sickly. The pharmacist at this CVS location - 2610 Bishop Drive in San Ramon - made me feel worse as she totally discarded me. Shame on her. Finally, I plan to file a complaint against her with the California State Board of Pharmacy in Sacramento as I happen to have her name. Thank you… Veronika Briggs, Esq.

Probably the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had, not just once. First of all privacy is an issue here. On multiple occasions they have said the name of the medication I was picking up, which at least should not be said in a way that people behind you can hear. Then the consultation is done in a way that again, other people in line can hear. Last month the pharmacist made me hang up the phone when I was picking up the medication due to privacy issue and said she won't give me the med unless I hang up the phone. Then continued to talk about my medication in the same voice and the side effects it might have. I looked back to watch the people in line and wondered how come it's ok for them to hear? ! Today I went to pick up my son's medication. I called before I went and their automated system said my prescription was ready to pick up. I go in, they say they are closing for lunch, they made me wait until they came back just to tell me they are out of stock for the most common medication but they have ordered it and I can come back tomorrow!! Will never go back!!

This pharmacy is unbelievably incompetent and shockingly rude. They first made me wait for 45 minutes, then claimed they needed to contact my doctor about the quantity, and ultimately never gave me my pills. A total waste of time!

I am trying to talk to the pharmacy to update a prescription on file. First I was put on hold for 15 minutes. So I then hanged up to try again, where no one is answering but I am sitting listening to air as I wait for someone to pick up or am I on hold - I gave up here after 5 minutes. When I went in person on a prescription, they adamantly said they didn't have it. I went back and asked the tech are you sure as my dr sent it in. I was going to call my dr as I knew they sent it in for my procedure. The pharmacist had to correct the tech as the prescription was filled. I'm glad in that situation I didn't accept what the tech said and went home. I burn a lot of precious time with this pharmacy

Great customer service. Asha the pharmacist, goes above and beyond to make sure my 93-year old mom's prescriptions are available and ready for pickup when you need them. She would go out of her way to help us out just to make sure if the prescriptions are covered under my mom's insurance. Very accomodating! Friendly staff too! I would highly recommend this place. :)

The stafff at the CVS Target- San Ramon are all very friendly and nice.They will make sure that you are satisfied with their services.I would recommend this store to everyone.

The people are very nice here but if you need medication right away they may not have it. Twice now my doctor has sent a prescription to them and I've had to wait because they were either out of stock or had to order. If you need a medication right away don't come here .

The CVS inside Target in SR location is the worst! No matter how many times I tell them not to they keep putting my RX on auto refill. And constantly calls me about putting my current RX as well as any future RX on some 3 month plan. I know they're trying to increase their commit spend but this is beyond ridiculous. And when I did need my RX, they told me my insurance didn't cover for diff reason each time. So when I contacted my ins, I'm told all is well and should've been able to get my RX. This has happened 3 times within 2 months. And the people that work there are so slow, and I don't mean just physically. It wasn't always like this. The past 5 years has shown nothing but steady decline. I'm switching to Walmart!

I have an appointment for Covid vaccine at 4:30 and I reach there at 4:05 there was no one and they asked me to come back at 4:30. Really even when you are taking walkins? One lady who was polite to me asked to wait 10-15 mins for the walkins . I just sat there. I didn’t like the experience she could have politely asked me to wait for sometime rather blunting asking me to come back at 4:30.

Worse than all other pharmacies. The people working at the register are trained to sell you monthly plans charged on your credit card without you knowing it. Avoid all CVS and specially this one. All CVS operation managers are ill trained.

Super fast! Usually take me 30 at a Safeway pharmacy but only 5 minutes here, always!
