Very disappointed about the room cleanliness. The bathroom shower felt dirty and slimy. The toilet kept on running on and off. The hotel remodeled the bedroom but forgot about the bathrooms. Hotel wasn’t what I expected. The location is nice with beautiful hillside views.

If you use Roku or Chromecast.. you will not be able to get the TV to allow you to press input... If you have Roku let the sound from the TV come through your cell phone so you can turn down the sound or turn up the sound..it's the only way to use your Roku...they have their own system that you can't get around because you don't get the original remote for the LG that is in the room

I was surprised that they only do housekeeping once every five days unless you request it 24 hours in advance. Also, no complimentary coffee in the lobby was pretty silly. I mean, come on. That's a no brainer to put coffee in the lobby. The is a small coffee maker in the room, vut I didn't use it. I didn't want to wake my son up with the noise.The room was good, bed comfy, but there wasn't a hair dryer in the room. Definitely a no-frills stay, but it was comfortable. No breakfast included, but some items available for purchase. If I owned this chain I'd make some changes, and bring in more guests. I'll be staying elsewhere next time I visit San Ramon . . .Rooms: Clean, comfy.

Ok, for being an expensive hotel, I paid for 4 nights and the 2nd day, I arrived at my room tired from working a 12 hour shift to find out that my room WAS NOT CLEAN AT ALL, on arrival found the beds the same way no clean towels.I should've stayed on the holiday inn this was a mistake staying on this hotel.Shame on this hotel.Holiday Inn, I missed you clean rooms everyday and FREE BREAKFAST.NO FREE BREAKFAST HERE.

I was in a business trip. The front desk team was incredibly helpful and pleasant. I would like to express my gratitude to all of them for their hospitality and support. They are always energetic and friendly, no matter the time of day. Thank you very much, Candi, and all of your staff.Nearby activities: Very close to city centre (5 min by car). Good for business traveller.Safety: Very safe and secure. 24 hr help disk. The area is very quiet and safe.

The hotel is well maintained, clean and the staff is very friendly. Good value hotel for my 2 night stay. Bathrooms were tidy and pillows super comfy. Front desk reception very helpful and nice.

We got married at Bridges Golf Club in August and booked multiple rooms at Sonesta. The Sales Director, Front Desk Manager and everyone in between was phenomenal to work with. The bridal suite was decorated so beautifully and was a really nice touch. The location was perfect. There is a nearby restaurant and gas station in walking distance. Try the gas station chicken, its delicious! The rooms and common areas were clean. The area is safe and our out of town guests really enjoyed their stay. Thank you so much for ensuring our stay was perfect!

Worst hotel gym I've ever used. Half of the dumbbells are missing and there aren't any cleaning wipes, so all of the equipment is disgusting.

The beds were super comfy, conveniently located, and friendly staff. Check in was easy and the rooms were well decorated. Our shower head had a slow and constant drip and our room keys had to be rekeyed several times to let us in; however, the staff were always there to greet us with a smile! Overall we would definitely recommend!

These guys need help!!! The only reason I knock it down a star for rooms and service is because they're understaffed. If you need the work in San Ramon let these guys know!!! They're so kind and sweet. If they had a bigger crew the experience would be much better!

Clean rooms and the staff was fantastic and very helpful. The room didn't have wash clothes, the lid didn't fit the coffee cup, no lotion, no facial tissue, no cups in the bathroom, but the location was convenient.

Clean no frills hotel. They do have breakfast just make sure you book with BNB code. There is a fridge & small coffee machine in room. No microwave but there is a microwave down in lobby.Walkability: Walking trails near by.Food & drinks: They do have an assortment of things you can buy. Though we couldn't figure out where or what to pay. I'm guessing you take it to the front desk.

Everything is great! Excellent service. The only complaint is that if you have food delivered to the hotel, the driver isn’t allowed to bring you your food and you have to go to the lobby to get it yourself. And the breakfast isn’t complimentary. Overall, wonderful stay. Would Definitely come back.

After reading all the negative comments I have to say that I don't really understand the ones talking about dirty room, mine was pretty clean.A thing which should be mandatory in all the room is water, please where are the water bottles ? No one wants to drink the tap water, that is not acceptable.

I work for a large California Public Utility and was in town for two days attending a training session.I had called and reserved a room in advance with my credit card.When I showed up to check in I was told they wouldn’t accept my card (same card I made reservations with) because it did not have a chip. WHAT?? Do you not have a card with a chip? I was asked, and replied “yes I do but that isn’t the one I’m using “. WellYou will just have to go elsewhere I was told. I will spend the rest of my days keeping people away from ALL Sonesta Hotels.Raymond Kendall
