Overall it is a good gym. I have been here for years as I got a great long term contract. They have good classes, good equipment and I'd give it a 5 but it is just not clean. I have been discussing the cleaning with on site management for the past year. They all tell me they don't have a deep cleaning staff. The men's bathroom has black scum on the tile where it needs a deep clean. The countertops are disgusting. At lunch yesterday, the bathrooms were gross. Urinals have not been cleaned in a while. Countertop still have the weird white scummy stuff I saw there last week. Stairway to the second floor has stains, hair and dust that have been there for weeks. So, my recommendation would be to shower at home, clean your equipment and workout space yourself and be aware.

It’s a nice gym with lots of amenities but it’s starting to show its age. Clubsport was built in 1989 and it shows. I really wanted to join this gym but I couldn’t justify the price. While it is a better gym in almost every way over 24 hour fitness, it’s not worth nearly 9 times the price on a monthly basis and that’s with the new year promotion where they are waiving the $300 initiation fee they normally charge.

Club sport is a good gym, the place is constantly maintained and the equipment is always being cleaned unlike other gyms in the area, all the way to small things like the cable extensions on weight machines. The staff is friendly and always greet you and are helpful, and the locker rooms have a lot of nice amenities and areas. The only small thing is the weight room is comparatively small, but they make up for it by having lots of multi-purpose courts.

Good gym, but overpacked with novel machines and not enough basic benches and floor space. They should knock out a squash court or two and expand the gym with more basic equipment while thinning out some of the more esoteric stuff. The common areas have Fox News on TV constantly and the management won’t enact a policy to curtail news programming in general.Ultimately this creates a space not safe from politics and makes it difficult to focus on a workout.

Club sport is a great club. There are a lot of great amenities and service here. They have a lot of resources that they provide for the customers. The whole place itself is very clean and organized. They have fitness equipment that are all new and a basketball gym with 2 full courts. They have a pool, tennis courts, and a spa. The locker rooms have showers and saunas that are separated to male and female lockers. It is a good place to hangout as well and relax. It is not super packed and has a decent amount of cardio machines as well. The only thing is that there is not a ton of machines and gym equipment than others gyms that are fully for working out, but it has everything you need to get a good workout. It is quite pricey so you'll need to see if the price is worth it to you if you want to join.

I rejoined this place after four years of hiatus. The club is well-maintained and clean. The best part is that it keeps out the riffraff. They have plenty of staff to assist you if you have a question and they offer personal training the dry wet saunas are nice and clean and well maintained. they're open 5 AM to 10 PM. They offer plenty of classes . The machine really have our state of the art.

I've been a member at ClubSport in San Ramon for a while now. It is conveniently located up the block from my house so no excuses to not visit. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. Plenty of space to workout and a multitude of machines to isolate each muscle. They offer many exercise classes and a big pool. They also have a childcare center for your kids as you use the facility.

GM Nick takes care of club members with great attention and response. With the service/sports industry not providing much service, he truly stands out.

Started attending Boxing class with Mickey (which is kinda like a hidden gem) and immediately got hooked! I have been going twice a week for about a month now and it has been the highlight of my week! Really good and fun exercise! I only wished there were more times offerings (in the afternoon) or bigger room to fit us as sometimes there are ~12 people stuck in that small room and sharing the sand bags

A great gym with a wide selection of equipment. Clean facilities and friendly staff. I gave them a try and I'm not disappointed

After trying out trial 3-day memberships all over town, I whole-heartedly signed-up at ClubSport about 6 weeks ago...and I'm lovin' it. Here's what I like: ============== * Even at premium times, you can always find a parking spot, and at most, it's 75% capacity. * It's kept immaculate; extremely clean * It's the only club in the area with Tennis; pickleball; squash; racquetball. * Olympic sized swimming pool, large jacuzzi, and kiddie pool. * Always a trainer available to ask questions, get advice, and easy to book * Lots of equipment: treadmill, nautilus, and free weights * Have many classes of all types, mainly in the morning and late afternoon. The downside: ============= * It's a little dated, 1990's. * It's a little pricey. It's less than Equinox, but way more than 24 Hour Fitness and Fitness 19. All in all, I love the club and go nearly every day.

The deal breaker for me is the Initiation Fee of $300/family. Bay Club charged my family $0. Club Sport is much cleaner and seems to have more mature, respectful members. Bay Club is full of fowl mouth young adults; however, I did not hear any cussing at Club Sport. I would sign up in a minute if it were not for the high initiation fee. Club Sport also has 6 basketball nets, which seem to offer members the opportunity to be play most of the time. In contrast, Bay Club only has four nets, with 3x the number of members trying to use the courts. Club Sport has not been updated like Bay Club, so it doesn't have the resort feel you get when you enter the pool area for example. Bay Club has two hot tubs outside and one in each of the locker rooms. CS has one outside.

Great Gym. A bit pricing, smaller than Bay Club but friendlier. I like their kick boxing heavy bag work outs.

I've been a long-time member and its great to see a business embracing the times and welcoming all members by celebrating pride. I go to this gym to get in a workout and it feels amazing to know that this is a safe space to exercise in. I have told the front desk how happy all my buddies and I are to see such a progressive display of decor. Hope to see this continue into the future. As if this was not good enough, the overall condition of the gym is pristine. The event coordinated by the team is outstanding and they really go above and beyond to show their appreciation for their members. So happy to see this club take to showcase its support for all and ensure that we all feel accepted. (As Jesus says, love thy neighbor) I will be encouraging everyone I know to sign up and renew their memberships here.
