Chevron Oil Refinery is just burning ? extra carbohydrates in heart of Manhattan Beach. Look at the pictures, how is this even legal? Where is accountability?

As a woman and a part of the BIPOC community I am horrified as to how I was treated at the Chevron location in Oregon - address ***** ** ** *******. I ride a motorcycle, and as law permits in OR, I pulled up to pump my gas. An employee at that location approached me, not respecting COVID restrictions/social distancing, and asked me what I was doing. When I told him I was filling my gas tank, he responded "IF I let you." To which I responded "Would you please respect social distancing and give me my space." He ignored this request and continued to laugh and point at me from about 2 feet away. When putting in my card/pin he again asked "What are you doing now?" I ignored his comment and decided I did not want to give this location my business. When putting my helmet and gloves back on he continued to make demeaning comments and laugh at my expense. Never in all my time as a female motorcycle rider have I encountered such disregard for COVID precautions as well as the open and visceral sexism, misogamy, and lack of composure. This report needs to be taken into consideration with its levels of concerning issues. This location needs COVID safety training as well as teachings on discrimination.

I wish I could give ZERO stars for this company. Chevron and *** bank are horrible to work with. I only wish I knew how much money they have received by wrongly charging their $75.00 "finance charge" to other people. I have had an ongoing problem with this company for the past 5 years. I have spoken to them and there is always some excuse. I have to muself go online to download their invoices and statements because the ones they send in the mail arrive so late there is no way to get payment to them by check without it being late. (according to when THEY receive and process payments) We handle the bookkeeping for multiple accounts. One of them is paid by 2 checks. I download the statement cut off the payment remittance coupon and write 2 checks. I write on the stub of the remittance coupon 2CHECKS #xxxx and #xxxx. Most recently I received an email that one check was received. I called asked them to check our history it shows 2 checks are always received. I was told that they are opened and processed electronically so one of the checks must have been lost and I had to send another. I sent a third check only to find that now I have a $75.00 finance fee on the account. How can a business do business like this? Meanwhile I have no idea what they've done with the other check and they weren't able to tell me the check number of the one they deposited. I am beyond frustrated and would like to know what options I have in dealing with them.

Closed account without warning - found out from credit monitoring that my account of 33 years was closed because it was considered dormant. No email, text, snail mail or phone call to alert, me, the card user but they had no problem notifying the credit agencies? Very poor customer service, my first credit card that had zero balance. We saved it to use on vacations, of which we cannot take right now, and won't be using it going forward. Negative impact to our credit too, so upset.

I lived out near this location for many years. I would stop and get a fountain drink everyday and it was always great. I moved and new people were hired ever since then the machines are always dirty and the drinks taste horrible. It's like water with food coloring in it. The older people who work there don't care about the quality of drinks or food there, they always look miserable and dont have food customer service. Please fix this store.

Their newly upgraded gas pump payment process is a pain. I have to answer almost like a survey before I can pump gas. Do you have a reward card? Is this a debit or credit? Do you want to enter a rewards card? Do you want to wash your car? Do you want a receipt? Back then it was insert card, enter zip code then pump.

Good company overall. Especially for one of the big oil companies.

Have done used "Top Tier" Chevron both while living in California and West Texas. Recently, I drove home to California from Washington. Texas and HAD to stop @ a "low tier" Pilot gas station in Arizona. RESULT: Instead of the usual 450 miles I get w/ a full tank (Hybrids in the Interstate), I got 270 miles! THAT DEFINITELY proves the difference b/t gas w/ "Techron" & the cheap crap that barely meats gov't requirements! You might more for "Top Tier" gas (often, they're usually about the same price...@ least in Midland where one of Chevron's Headquarters are located; there & in Pleasanton, California), but you get MUCH MORE/ considerably more miles out of Chevron w/ Techron gas!

Nice place to work. No harmful herbicides, pesticides, or weed killer being used here. Lots of trees and such. Air and water is super clean.

If I could pick no stars I would! The Chevron Truck stop in Vacavile California located 151 Crocker Dr
Vacaville, CA 95688, also by I505 and Vaca Valley Parkway - should be closed! The owner operator has on several occasions purposely left the car wash open with no soap. After paying $10. for a premium car wash, you get only a rinse, totally unacceptable. I was nice the first 3 or 4 times it happened, but oday on Sunday 8/23 i hit my limit and demanded my money back. I finally got it, after going back and forth with the attendant - who stated the car wash was working as expected and no issues were know. I explained that it was AGAIN out of soap and it seems that the people who work there are too stupid to know how to add soap. I will never go to this lame gas station again!

This is the closest gas station to my Mom's place & also the most convenient to the highway - there is a mini-mart inside & they offer all kinds of car essentials, snackables, & sodas to help people stock up for their roadtrips - be it a 1 hr commute to an all-day haul....there's enough here to see you through I also like the fact they aren't gouging us just b/c they're so close to the highway. best part is they they honor Safeway Rewards & who doesn't like to get $0.20 off per gallon?! And another piece of awesomeness to point out is that they offer FREE air - most gas stations nowadays charge for replenishing your tires but not here & that earns respect in my book! And let's just say we've stopped by this location on more than 1 occasion to pick up a late night half-gallon of milk........thanks for being open when ALL the grocery stores are closed but we *need* milk for the next morning's coffee If all this doesn't make me a huge fan, not sure what else would!

Great location. Nice service. Clean inside. Best chevron I've been to no doubt. Just wish it had a car wash!

Chevron in San Ramon, CA is laying off people just months before they are vested for retirement so they don't have to pay benefits - and the layoffs don't come with severance packages. They're hiring younger interns for a fraction of the cost to replace the seasoned workers, just to save a dime. Someone I know was told his position was being sent overseas and he was being replaced by 8 interns! Another friend was laid off while she was on medical leave. I think that may be illegal.
My advice? Don't get a job at Chevron! All they care about is the bottom line, not the people.
