We love Building Kidz!! My sister's kids went here and referred us. We are so happy they had room in their 18 month class when we started last year. Our little one has really blossomed since starting here. He has gained skills on a daily basis and knows his ABC, letters, shapes and colors. With the support of the teachers he is now potty trained as well! We could not ask for a better place to have our child learn and grow. The teachers are fabulous and the directors of the program are responsible, responsive, and accessible. Highly recommend!

Staff is caring and friendly! The classrooms are clean and they have a nice balanced activity schedule. My son is on the spectrum and adapted so well in the 4 year old program. It was perfect for summer school and we highly recommend it!

Building Kidz was a God send for my family. My daughter started at two years old and finished the Pre-K program here. I'm a self proclaimed helicopter mom and the entire Building Kidz staff made sure to take care of both myself and my daughter. Nothing ever went unaddressed. There was never any feelings of my anxiety being a bother to them. All the teachers are super kind and relatable. My child was exposed to the perfect balance of learning and play. She's 100% ready for Kindergarten both academically and socially. My child can actually read, started learning Spanish, ASL, she's brave, outspoken, kind and so intelligent thanks to the staff at Building Kidz. I literally have so many great things to say. I'm so grateful to have had my child attend school here.

In my opinion finding childcare has proven to be one the toughest tasks as a parent. We had been through 2 other professional child care situations before we landed at BK. From the moment we toured with Ms. Brijeeta we knew that this was going to be an entirely different experience and it turned out to be just that. The entire staff at BK is warm, welcoming, and makes me feel like they truly enjoy being there. My son has had his own set of struggles and the staff at BK always went above and beyond to meet him where he was at, even finding specific ways to encourage him special to his personality. They not only helped him along the way, but were there for us as his parents lending advice and feedback so that we were all on the same page. This is something we had been desperately hoping for, but never seemed to receive from our previous care providers. There are no words to truly express our gratitude for BK and their staff. They will always be very special to us and we are truly going to miss them next year. Please know that if you decide to take your child to BK they will be loved and cared for by the best teachers! In terms of the facility, my son's classroom is always clean and toys are constantly being switched out. Their lesson plans and structure of the days are great. It felt like my son was always exploring new things and excitedly came home sharing what he had learned or contributed during circle time that day. He is also very much ready for Kindergarten! They have a wonderful upgraded play ground and the school is secure with key fob entry and cameras throughout. Parents bring lunches and supplies to and from school daily so there is no clutter of cubbies, making more space for activities and learning. They provide morning and afternoon snacks too. The school also has a wonderful performing arts program. The kids get a chance to dance and explore creative movement. My son put on 2 performances during our time at BK and it was just so wonderful to see as a parent. The shows were put together with a lot of effort and it's obvious the kids get a lot of practice, making them proud of their hard work!

I rarely write any reviews but this one is a must. My daughter has had the best time with Building Kidz. She was in the toddler group. Her two teachers, Ms. Carla and Ms. Mau have been really awesome. We love them, so does my daughter. They are very thoughtful and always give us an update whenever we go pick her up. Building Kidz has given my daughter opportunities to explore and learn. They were very flexible with our times and worked closely with us to transition our daughter to full days. I am sad that we are no longer part of the family but I would highly recommend this center for any toddlers. Both Tasha and Brijeeta are awesome to work with. I want to Thank you to the team and the staff for providing my daughter with a safe learning environment. Best of Luck to Building Kidz team.

Our daughter started going to Building Kidz of San Ramon when she was just 1 year old. Her teachers: Ms. Ritchie, Ms. Carla, and Ms. Mau are very caring, knowledgeable, and attentive in the toddler classroom. The learning curriculum provided really improved our child's development tremendously. She is be able to recognize the names of familiar people, animals, and objects, form simple phrases and sentences, and follow simple instructions and directions. In addition, the owner, Ms. Brijeeta, and site director, Ms. Tasha, are amazing! They are so responsive when it comes to communication. From time to time, you can see them visibly interacting with the children in the classrooms and on the playgrounds. As a parent, that's what I like to see! I really like that the facility is under surveillance at all times. They even send snapshots of my child throughout the day so I know how she's doing in school. It gives me a peace of mind that my child is safe!

My son has been going to building kidz for a year, starting after his 2nd birthday. I chose building kidz because the owner Brijeeta impressed me with her dedication to every aspect of the child's care, and her open and honest way of communicating. In the 2s classroom, my son has very warm and loving teachers. I'm surprised by how much he has blossomed at building Kidz, going from a shy kid to confidently talking to adults. He also loves the music / theater emphasis. The school is very clean and modern.

My son goes to k now. He was here for pre-K and I didn't aware how behind he is until he attending k now. He can't do addition or subtraction which it should be expected to know by k. He can't sit still to read. He can't recognize some letters. He's so behind. The teachers are great but it may be too busy so they can't teach or can't share enough attention to each one. All my son learned in here are bad habits.

My 4 year old son has been going here for a year and a half and I can say this is a fantastic school for several reasons: (my older child has attended Danville Montessori, day spring, panache, and Diablo hills country) 1) Safety: I never felt that the school or teachers were careless or not taking the necessary precautions to care for my son. Whether it's the entrance and exit rules, or the gated play area along with a divide for the younger ones, along with any physical injury (a fall etc) were always taken care of. 2) Teachers: my son had wonderful teachers in the 2's, 3's and 4's classroom. The teachers were nurturing, kind and go out of their way to ensure that a child is transitioning well. I found the teachers to be empathetic and sweet towards children and parents! All teachers here deserve a big shout out as I don't find too many teachers who are willing to go the extra mile for their students! 3) After school activities: my son had a great time learning dance, art, theater/drama. I watched his summer performance this year in a theatre and felt that this school puts in so much effort to have kids express themselves in different ways! 4) education: this wasn't my primary focus but my son learnt to count and knows his alphabets and phonetics now. I didn't make extra time to work with him individually - so whatever he knows it's because of this school. 5) holidays, pandemic, and more: Brijeeta is a responsible owner who takes ownership of her situation. I enrolled my son into her school because of the kind of lady she is! She will personally call you to discuss and solve ANY issues you are having in school. She always talked to me with an open mindset and approached things as a way of learning from it- and that's a true business owner/ leader! Tasha is an assistant director, and she is wonderful to work with as well. This school overall take less holidays than some of the other preschools I know. During the pandemic, Brijeeta and her staff did their best to keep the school clean, and follow all rules. I was amazed to see how proactive Brijeeta and her staff were regarding this matter. One of the days, the school (like other facilities at the time) had to shut down due to covid, and I just couldn't take care of my son that day - so the teacher offered to come home to care for my son! They also have programs where they invite parents and in general have tons of get together - for in school performances, theatre performances, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Christmas parties and more! Overall I highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a nurturing and super fun environment for their child.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! Our daughter attended here and still misses it. The staff are great, professional and communication is spot on. The director is very caring and eager to make this a wonderful place for kids. My daughter loooved the performance teachers and the showcase, she still does her dance at home :) Building kids really brought her out of her shell. Playground and facilities are also great. Would absolutely recommend to other parents!

Our family had a brief and extremely disappointing experience with this facility. Before I jump into the nuts and bolts of my review, I’d like to point out that the pictures and video their Yelp page are out of date. The teachers do not dress inform, and the current Director is not represented in the marketing. The yelp page, nor the website lists the director, teacher or their credentials. If you are a parent looking for a preschool facility with credentialed teachers, this isn’t it.After a tour, we made an initial decision to start with the school. We attended a few drop-in days, and then we had our son out for a week. During that week no one from the school called or emailed to check on our family, or even to inquire about whether or not our son was sick. And when we returned the following week instead of a polite inquiry about my son, I was confronted by the new site director who was abrasive and aggressive asking for tuition payment which was due in the time period that we were away. Given that I had never met this woman, it was off-putting for her to not introduce herself, her credentials or her relationship to the center. It was also off-putting that she was more interested in the money than actually meeting my son, and learning more about us as new customers. After attending for 9 days we called it quits because of the constant harassment for payment (which had already been worked out with the office). They literally emailed multiple times a day, and then called me in the office which is just crazy when there’s already an arrangement in place. Based on my observations of the center, and tours of several other sites in the San Ramon area, this place is targeted more towards families who need affordable care. They didn’t disclose the credentialing of the teachers, and none of them were dressed consistently to the video on this page. Any care center that has aggressive tactics in place, or emails multiple times a day (with multiple grammatical errors in their messages) is more focused on keeping cash flow as opposed to working with the children. As a parent, I want my child attending a school where there’s some level of professionalism, especially with the director because they set the tone. This isn’t marketed as a mom and pop shop. It’s marketed as a longstanding established professional care center. That wasn’t our experience. The only real response I got about my concern was that the owner was the one who wanted them focused on money. Our family was looking for an education-focused center and between the negative experience with the director, and the lack of professionalism, we opted for a more expensive facility in the area that more closely aligns with the goals for our child’s education and care. I hope this helps. God Bless.

My daughter went to teddy bears from 18months to 2.5years, we absolutely loved it! The director, Ms. Christine does a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable. Ms. Nina the toddler teacher is hands down amazing. My child came home with lots of art, and her vocabulary really started to grow once she started there. I would highly recommend Teddy Bears children’s center.

We chose this preschool because of the curriculum, all-year-round schedule, and reasonable tuition. We've had experience with several other daycare/preschools, and this school has the most reliable hours, especially around the holiday season. Teachers are very nice, trustworthy, and accommodating. The director is extremely helpful and friendly. Our kids enjoy coming to Teddy Bears!

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would! Moving away was extremely sad because of the care and knowledge my son learned from the teachers at Teddy Bear. I’m so thankful for the time Miss Nina and the other teachers took with him, showing him love and kindness, letting him explore and learn, and always making sure he felt safe. The school is very structured with learning curriculums and set times for the activities throughout the day. My son was also learning Spanish while there. Miss y’all a ton! Definitely the best place to have your kid in daycare!!

I love this place even though it is my son who goes here and not me ! I put my son in there when he was 2 and he has been there for more than a year now and all I can simply say about this school is Fantastic!I like their spacious classrooms for each age group , the big playground and numerous ride-ons they have for the kids . The teachers here are amazing - very hands on and always have time for you for a conversation or concerns . Infact my son is comfortable with each teacher whom he may meet during play time and may not be his class teacher per se.I am glad I put him in here and now recommend it to everybody I know .
