Absolutely great. Dr Crisp is the best vet ever- smart, explains concerns, issues and prices clearly, treats our pet like it is her own.

Dr. Hayley McDonald is the worst cardiologist. She makes do repetitive tests that were done in ER. She’s unprofessional how late she arrives 2pm and have your dog dropped off 8am to be in a cage waiting. You’re not allowed to see the cardiologist let alone be in the room making it a horrible back and forth experience with the front desk. She only wants to rank up your doctor visit cost. It’s best for this vet office to change the cardiologist who is more attentive on reading ER notes and can be punctual arriving at least 9am if drop off is 8am

I was surprised by an increased fee on a routine service because I had not been there in quite a while. I did not have the funds to cover the cost. The kind Staff waived a substantial portion of that fee for me. I live on a fixed income and a very tight budget. That meant a LOT to me. THANK YOU!!! ????

I've taken my cat here to see Dr. Petauton twice. She's great, really seems to know her stuff. The building is nice and relaxing. Staff is kind and friendly. Urgent care is great because it's in between regular vet, which can take weeks to get an appointment, and emergency vet, which can be very expensive, so it's a nice middle ground. I wish I knew about this place earlier!

Brandi is the worst receptionist ever. I reached out last night through their texting service. She responded in AM. I said I will take the 2 pm appointment. I walk my dog for 15 mins and she gives my appointment away rather than putting me down or calling to confirm the details she needed. Then she said she has 3 PM and I said I will take it. She responds 15 mins later and said it’s gone. My other dogs went here for 15 years, not a family type vets office at all.

My dogs end of life has been super difficult. The front office staff was confusing and difficult at the wost times. If you come once every few months or year it's hard to notice and you just ride off as a hiccup.. However if you start needing them 2 to 4 times a week for consecutive weeks you can see how they are just not good at relying messages, unavailable, rude and more interested in racking up the bill, than your dogs health. They started telling me on a Saturday that the office manager was going to call me back, after many calls, I found out no one was calling me back about my sick dog, vet or office manager like the front office told me was happening. the owner admitted that the front office lied, and the office manager was not there the following Monday. He called me unreasonable and backed their behavior. It's unreasonable to have the front office staff mess with you while you watch your dog slowly die and not be frustrated.
What's the point if they don't have appointments, don't return messages with a response & confusion and games from the front desk? We ended up at a vet in Danville that afternoon and they saved her life that day. If you need your pets life to be saved, I wouldn't depend on them (especially the front office staff) as they seem to get off on playing games in time of need, and then hide behind the owner. I gave two stars because there is one veterinarian who we found by mistake and she was the only one that helped without adding a bunch of tests like they are using a checklist from college racking up the bill (like the other vets) however since you can't depend on front office staff, there's no point in going here. Also, if you want to see the vet (the one you know is good) be ready to wait a minimum of 2 to 4 weeks and if you see a vet you're not familiar with, they seem to not read the history and they try start from scratch (testing for things you've tested for already) so you have to know you're stuff so you don't end up overpaying for things you don't need or already done. If you want more on this vet, visit yelp, the recent one star reviews are accurate and I have also experienced.

The team is truly wonderful. from intake, to the exam room and payment, the entire staff is warm, friendly, patient and extremely informative. Our 10 year old was in for his annual vaccinations and he's not a huge fan of the vet. The entire staff was super accommodating and made sure that he was comfortable before receiving his shots. Kudos to the entire staff!

I have been utilizing the care at Bishop Ranch urgent care for over 20 years. Needless to say I’ve had many pets as part of my family.
My pets are my highest priority as they bring so much joy.
I can say from the front staff to the techs and the vets I’ve had great experiences. They share my priorities of top flight care .
The care is state of the art. The techs are kind knowledgeable and a crucial part of the team. The front desk staff warm and accommodating. So this is why I’ve stuck with Bishop ranch urgent care. Vets have moved away but I’ve managed to always find another I work well with.
I can honestly say a relationship of trust exists.

Dr Crisp and ALL the staff members are amazing! Very sweet to our husky, Luna. Not pushy about services that are unnecessary as some vets are. Luna has been receiving Librela injections since February and her arthritis has improved drastically. She has also had to have bloodwork done, Luna willingly went into the back with Dr Crisp, which she has never been willing to go in the back at a vet without putting up a fight. I can’t say enough good things out this place! We love that Luna is in good hands, is cared about, and they have her best interest at heart. Thank you Dr Crisp and the entire staff at Bishop Ranch Vet! ?

I've been bringing my pets to Bishop Ranch for almost 10 years. Cats, dogs of all sizes. I do notice a lot of turnover with their staff but the service I get is always superior. Today I brought my 9 month old kitten in to their urgent care clinic because she had been vomiting repeatedly for hours. We were taken back immediately and Elle was examined. The vet was Dr Crisp and she was very friendly and thorough. She gave me the information I needed without talking down to me or leaving out any details. My kitten was assessed and treated and is now home feeling better. I've taken my other cat here when he had an abscess form an entire month after I had adopted him from the shelter. I had brought him first to VEG and they found/drained the abscess but then sent my poor cat home with a gaping, oozing wound on his back and no medication. I brought him to Bishop Ranch the next day and he got the surgery he needed, a drain tube placed and the correct pain meds and antibiotics. He spent two weeks in a cone but he healed very well and is fine now. Again the vet and all staff were very kind courteous and professional. My only complaint is they are often booked out for weeks but that is what happens when you're the best, I suppose. Highly recommend.

Visiting family with my pup who got sick. She needed to see the vet right away. I was beyond impressed how they took care of her. My pup is reactive and fearful of the vet. The whole staff was so perfect. They treated her with so much care and patiences. I was beyond impressed. I highly recommend!!!

I brought my 12 year old cat for over-the-counter treatment resistant fleas. The facility is very clean and has a calming environment. We were promptly greeted and checked in. We had an appointment and they remained on schedule. The initial tech was very curteous. The veterinarian was Triona McCarthy.
She was extremely professional and pleasant. She performed a very thorough examination, asked appropriate questions, and made sure that I understood her directions. She applied the first dose of the medication, instructing me to ensure that I would use it correctly going forward. Extremely fair bill.

Dr. Crisp (and the entire staff) was kind and sensitive to our persnickety mongrel's needs.
