They’re nice but they encouraged me to pull in and begin the smog inspection and I had to grill them to give me a price first. To save you some time it’s $65.

This review is for Jose. I went in for a smog check. He saw that I was in a recent car accident and helped me put together parts of my car. I really appreciate it. It was the end of the day and he really didn’t have to do that, he helped me out and he didn’t charge me. Thank you Jose!

Bait and switch. Called in and enquired about oil change and tire rotation and the gentleman quoted $65 + taxes. I go in person and he says oil change alone is usually $70 and with the coupon it will be $60, but tire rotation will be an additional $60 totaling $120. I ended up not using the service due to this.

Needed to get my car smogged and thought to come to this place. Arrived to the place and walked towards the open garage. Not one auto tech in sight. Went inside the gas station mart and the guy says they don't have anything to do with them and that someone should be there. Went back to the open garage yelling hello and no response. Decided to call and ask if they're open. The gentleman who answers says no they're not open and that the smog tech was not in. Well then why have a garage open at all?!Not a great first experience and plan to make it my last.

Called Bestech Smog and Auto Service to get a quote, so I told them my make, model and year of car; I said okay and made an appointment for the next day. Arrived and met one service person, talked to him as we walked out and looked at my car and another service person join us and he started leaning on the passenger side door on top of the window molding of my convertible. I politely ask him not to lean on the window and the door molding and he remover himself for just a moment and then starting leaning on it a again and I asked him to please don't lean on the car, he removed himself again and said that he would not smog my car. It was going to take too long to do it and that I was going to watch him and he didn't want to be watched so he wasn't going to smog my car for those reasons.I feel that was very unprofessional and his demeanor was rude and crude. Honestly after I told him not to lean on my car it seemed to me he was afraid to be held responsible with my car. So I was very happy to take my business elsewhere. But this experience has lead me to say I would "not recommend" this smog station!

Rude on the phone. Website says best price in SR. Their quote was not the best price. Nor would they match. Which is fine, but don't be rude about it.

Threw tantrum and refused service and threw my dmv slip on ground because i left 1 star review because they require printed coupon for discount. Turns out place across the street was same price without a printed coupon.

This is a California Star Smog certification center. The operator is friendly and efficient. Did a quick turn around.
