The associates are sad. They dont know what they are doing. 3rd st is way better. They're more busy and might take an extra 10-20mins to be attended sometimes. But atleast they know what they are doing. And that location is more open to different insurances such as GoodRx. One thing i dont understand is how can the walgreens in san rafael accept goodrx for one medication and northgate say they dont. Yet my walgreens app. Acknowledges goodrx and allows me to use it too. But in person, its rejected.Never coming back to this walgreens

This Walgreens keeps losing my photo orders. This is the 3rd order that was lost. I don't recommend sending your photo orders at this location.

This is the only pharmacy I'll go to. The staff is great and do the best they can. When I couldn't find a medication that is on a national shortage, one of their staff was looking out for me and when they were able to find some they immediately called me and held it. Sure, sometimes there is a wait, but that's gonna be all pharmacies. I really appreciate these guys.

This is the Walgreen's store in the Northgate One Shopping Center on Manuel T. Freitas Pkwy in San Rafael. On the way to the freeway, I decided to stop and check their prices on bulk bags of cough drops. I actually don't shop much at my local Walgreens, so it's been awhile since I have visited a store. Is Walgreens still considered a drugstore? I was kind of surprised by how small the cough drop section was. They had a good price for a bag of 200, so I got that. Then I walked around the store a little. The clerk came over and pretended to be straightening shelves, while he watched me surveying the store. Then when I went to pay, my Walgreens card was cancelled for inactivity. So I had to sign up for a new one. But I didn't get a discount for all that effort. Pretty uneventful visit 45-mins before closing on a Thursday evening. Free parking

Josh at Walgreens Pharmacy is very polite, and very patient handling the line. He recently saved me about $100 on a prescription . I was very appreciative.

Photo Department: This is by far the worst customer service I have ever had. I have had over 6 orders for this location that go missing. Do NOT use this location.

Things have really changed the past couple months. This used to be my favorite location and I even stayed with them when I moved and drove 30 mins to pick up my meds but recently things have gone really downhill. Whenever I call I can't reach anyone. I am usually on hold for 30-45 mins and then it seems like they pick up and hang up and then I have to keep calling and waiting until someone does finally pick up. The lines at the pharmacy have gotten really bad as well. I have to devote so much time to trying to get ahold of someone and then more time picking up my prescription, it's just like all the other locations now. 2 stars just because I'm hoping this is temporary and they'll go back to how they were before.

When Iooking for a product I came across an employee who was stocking shelves. Wasn't sure if he was an employee or a merchandiser from another company, I asked if he worked here. He continued to stock the shelf flashing his badge at me s (i guess that ment yes)continue to stock the shelf without acknowledging me. I saw his name, I asked what that meant and assumed he worked there. Continuing to stock his shelf I asked him where the product might be, in a very low tone without looking at me said top shelf. I had no idea what Top Shelf he was referring to. He then walked past me stared at me said top shelf right. Then walked away. It was useless to ask him, because I felt like I was annoying him. The product turned out to be on a lower shelf. There are so many jobs out here that people don't want I feel this young man by the name of Sam is one of them. Walgreens should do some employee training on customer service. This was very poor customer service⁹

It literally takes this place 10-15 to check out each customer. I waited for 45 to get my medication and there were only 3 people in front of me in line. Use any other pharmacy except this one.

they are not authorized to provide service because is an instacart worker, doordash, one of the employees answered we are all customers it does not matter if we deliver workers , terrible service

I came at 11:30 to pick up a prescription. They told me they were behind and it would take about an hour to fill and asked if I’d wait. I told them I’d come back later. So I returned at 4pm, waited in line for fifteen minutes, only to be told it still wasn’t ready. The person who assisted me was unprofessional and flippant. Rolled his eyes at my direct but professional frustration at the situation. I could then see him in the mirror making small talk and joking with the pharmacist while others waited in a 10+ person line behind me. Amanda Waite, the pharmacy manager, has always been kind and professional. The people I dealt with today, specifically Sam S., was not. I will not be returning to this Walgreens pharmacy.

The staff and Pharmacy are unreal rude. They make sure to keep you on hold. I waited on hold for over an hour, only to be hung up on. I called the store manager and he said sorry and put me through the same phone answering service for the same thing. I waited again for another 30 minutes and then got hung up on again. A total of 1 hour and 30 minutes on hold. I guess they think they won't have to answer the phone if they just keep putting people on hold forever especially when it's close to closing time. Excellent scenario..........NOT!!!!
