Salon SOS---Stacey to the rescue!!! I find it difficult to find someone who exceeds my hair expectations and Stacey definitely does! I had just moved to Marin and was trying to find a good salon. I have naturally long dark hair that another salon missed to mark on cut and color (even when I went back to have them correct it). Devastated and nervous to try someone else I ended up having Stacey help me get a the look I wanted and couldn't be happier. I'm so glad I've found a great stylist in Marin!

Stacey is a gem! Really enjoy my cuts and she's always very friendly yet focuses on getting the best cut done in a timely manner which I appreciate. One small thing I feel bad saying but must give the feedback is that I do not like the building she is in. It smells just awful, it's old and seedy, no view, the exhaust fumes from the restaurant downstairs are overwhelming. That's not what you want when coming for a pro cut/style. Prices are on the steep side for regular cuts. Of course Stacey has done the best anyone could do to make her salon erase those negative things, but it's just not a good ambiance getting in and out of there and it seems to be getting worse. The previous place she had was so much nicer! Modern, clean, bright, fresh. Would love it if she relocated to somewhere better and easier with parking. Great stylist though!

I have been going to my BFF for haircuts for years but somehow we fell out of alignment and my hair had zero movement. It was almost like 2 different cuts with odd layers from being cut with a straight razor (scary!). I got a recommendation to Stacey and was immediately impressed when she asked for photos of the front, back and side of my hair and any ideas of what I wanted her to do. She instantly saw the issue and made me feel at ease. Fast forward to our appointment. She actually listened to me, understood what was needed and took so much time and attention to cleaning up the cut, thinking about my routine and how the cut would grow out. I won't lie the first few days my hair and I needed to get to know each other but it's a great cut. For the first time in ages, I can say I love my hair. It's super easy to maintain and feels like I actually have an intentional style. Most important, Stacey is an absolute doll who I truly enjoyed spending time with. I'd definitely recommend her.

Today I received my first hair cut in 15 years, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I have ptsd when it comes to anything with my hair. The last time someone cut my hair they completely butchered it, not listening to a thing I wanted, instead they did what they wanted and felt would look best; making it very hard to trust anyone with it again! After reviewing Stacey's work, and talking with her I decided to give it another try, she added the much needed confidence my hair was lacking! I could not stop smiling at my hair once she finished! I can't wait to follow up with her and add some color! I am in love with my cut and excited to work more with her!

I got my hair cut and colored by Ciera and she did an AMAZING job! I’m so happy with the results. She’s very sweet and easy to talk to so that makes me even happier to put in a good review in for her. She uses quality products and definitely knows what she is doing. I wasn’t even sure what I wanted so she took control and did a wonderful job! I’m so happy with it. I highly recommend her and will be going back!!

I had a lovely experience taking my daughter to get a trim and color correction from Ciera. The salon is very comfortable and clean, Ciera is very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her

I just had another great haircut with Stacey and I'm getting compliments every day (maybe I should go in more often!). My highlights are exactly the color I wanted - warm golden butter and lemon that's not brassy. As always, Stacey was careful to pick up the previously highlighted strands and leave some of my natural base color untouched so that I won't wash out over time. She even cut my Halo hair extension for me. She was so patient while I struggled with it. It's so nice to just relax and trust the person doing your hair. We talked and laughed and it felt more like having happy hour with a friend than having an appointment. Her studio is also private - just her and you in a bright corner room with Mt. Tam views so there aren't multiple voice talking over multiple hair dryers like in some spaces. I typically resent the time it takes to look my best but with Stacey it was actually a nice time. Maybe I WILL go in more often!!

I love coming to Stacey to get my hair done. She always does an amazing job with the highlights and treating my hair with care. In her hands I feel my hair is safe from being damaged and she is really great About setting realistic goals and expectations. Her space is super cool, and she is the sweetest! I highly recommend Stacey Khuu Salon if you are looking for a new stylist, she is very skilled and talented.

Stacey Khuu is the only person who's permitted to cut my hair. She's amazing! I drive almost an hour from home for my appointments but I'm never disappointed.

Initially I met Stacy when she was asked to do hair and make up for a professional photo shoot of the staff in an office I worked for. Let me say that my make up style is eyeliner on special occasions and I can probably count on one hand how many times a year I use hairspray. Stacy was very attentive to my personal comfort level. Asking me how I usually wear my hair and make up so what she did amplified my personality instead of masking it. After about ten minutes of evaluation she went to work. I truly felt like the canvas.... her application was very gentle, even around the eyes, and it did't feel like heavy "cake- up" when she was done. After make up and hair, I finally looked in the mirror. The result was inspiring to say the least and I was comfortable enough to wear it for the rest of the day. She had won my confidence as a client and I would most defiantly recommend to her.
