I love Scotty’s. Been a loyal customer for over 30 years. Favorites are the BBQ ribs and their chicken Caesar salad. I will always recommend them to everyone.

Scotty's has a great deli and a wide variety of shelf items. The personal are friendly and helpful. As an upscale niche market, you'll pay a little more, but you won't have to deal with the money crunchers.

I originally wrote a negative review because the manager falsely accused a friend of shoplifting. it turned out to be a case of mistake and identity. My friend went in to prove his innocence, yet they shut him down and scapegoated him.Eventually, after we approached the manager and the owner with more concerns, they reviewed the camera footage and realized their mistake. I’m still upset at how they initially treated my friend and how they continued to ignore him after he went back to try to work this out with him.Eventually, my friend’s persistence paid off. I hope that they will be more careful before jumping to conclusions in the future. I do appreciate that eventually we’re open minded enough to apologize.

Usually have a good experience at Scotty’s but was shopping yesterday and using the green tote store basket. It was absolutely filthy! I purchased a loaf of Raymond’s bread that I had to discard because the bag it comes in was open and the bread slipped out onto the tote. I mentioned the state of the tote to the cashier.

What a lovely market! Stopped in with friends & kids on our way to a pool party in San Rafael. Such great sandwiches at the deli! This is the west coast equivalent of a Publix sub. Amazing value. $6.50- 7.50 for a full-sized sandwich. Turkey piled high, and no surplus charge to sub lettuce for alfalfa sprouts? I couldn't believe it. 10/10, highly recommend. I hope this market stays in business forever.

Spent over $20 on their Calamari salad and it was inedible like rubber bands. They need to taste their food before they sell it. Always loved their deli but I probably won't go back for some time after this happened. Very disappointing.
