“Took my little pooch to this place after recommendation by my best friend. He went in looking like a scraggly little pup and came out, looking like a star on Hollywood Boulevard. The fellow that owns the place is lovely and warm, and the dog was done earlier than expected, they put them in little cribs while they wait which I loved. Because after all he is my baby.”

“My experience at this shop was outstanding because of Emily - she went above and beyond for me and my pups, and I wanted to express my gratitude. I have 2 elderly little Maltese, one is going through treatment for lymphoma and the medication he’s on makes him hungry ALL the time. It was the end of the day and we were out of food, so I did a search for one of their favorite brands, “Just Food for Dogs” on google maps and the closest location was a few minutes away from where I was. I drove to the address, but I couldn’t find it, so I called the store (in actuality it was Petfood Express, but there’s a listing error on google maps). Anyway, Emily picked up the phone and she is so sweet, warm and bubbly. I verified the location, and was thankful the store was still open so I thanked her and told her I would be there shortly. She informed me that the store had actually just closed (another google maps error). I expressed my disappointment because I really needed to pick up some food. She asked how close I was (I was in the parking lot) and because she hadn’t closed out the register just yet she said she could check me out if I wanted to run in. She was waiting for me at the door, I knew exactly what I needed, she helped me pick out a few flavors and checked me out. I was so very thankful!! She truly understands the meaning of exceptional customer, and helped me (and my hungry pup) in a time of need. It’s not very often that I leave an establishment feeling like the person I interacted with really cares, but this was one of those rare moments. I would definitely go out of my way to visit this shop again because it was such a good experience. Thank you again!”

“Kristin from the Benicia store is amazing. my 7 year old chihuahua mix is a very picky eater. she took time with me and helped me find some food to give him and even told me how to introduce the new food to him. I can't thank her enough for taking so much time with me and helped me pup and me feel better. She over and beyond we will be back to that store again for sure”

“Love Woodlands ... love the vibe and the great selection. We always try to support local and having to pop in once a month for our kitty food is absolutely worth it. They partner with a local animal rescue and it warms my heart knowing these little fuzzies are getting good exposure and face time with prospective mommies and daddies. Bonus for me is I get to watch them cuddle and play!! Staff is lovely and they have a great customer loyalty program!”

“I love the staff. Everyone is friendly, kind, knowledgeable and considerate. Every time I go in I see cute dogs and happy customers. However I believe America should stop selling betta fish in cups. I bought one impulsively and the staff was very knowledgeable and made sure I had everything to maintain my fishes health. Had the employees not educated me on tank size, filter requirements and suitable tank mates my dude would not be thriving. ( and he is) Ten stars for great employees. Upon my own research. I found the business practices of betta Fish as a whole in America to be unethical. I love my fish. He is happy and healthy.”
