North Bay Inn is a clean and well-maintained hotel offering spacious rooms at a very reasonable price, considered great value for the Bay Area. The staff is consistently described as incredibly kind, accommodating, and providing exceptional service. Rooms have been renovated with features like tile showers, new toilets, faux granite counters, wooden shutters, and comfortable beds with clean white cotton covers. Amenities include a working microwave, ice machine, and a larger fridge, with decent wifi that can lag during peak hours. The location is convenient, close to shops and a short drive to the Golden Gate Bridge. A significant point is its position directly next to the freeway, resulting in noticeable road noise that does quiet down at night; some guests note the construction dampens sound, while light sleepers may need earplugs. Occasional issues mentioned include thin towels, low water pressure, demagnetizing card keys, and early morning trash collection noise from a nearby business. Despite the noise, many guests find it a worthwhile stay and would return.
Clean hotel and spacious room for a very reasonable price. Left my jacket in the room and the attendant called me and offered to mail it back to my home. Exceptional service much appreciated!

The card key kept getting demagnetized. In the end it's just a bed when you are on a busy holiday. Quaint coffee ☕ shop around the corner. Weaver something....
