Clint was an unbelievable help to us this last weekend for Triumphfest‼ Our classic car gages failed and looked like it was overheating badly. Even though the shop was not open, he agreed to help. Not only did he repair our car, he brought it back to our hotel as well. Amazing service, amazing business. Highly recommend ‼

Up until now, I have never had what you might call a "good" experience with work done on my LR4. It has been a nightmare, honestly. However that all changed with Marin British European. Shortly after spending $13k getting on repairs (ripped off by shop on E Francisco Blvd here in San Rafael), my beast broke down yet again. I knew if I took it back to the original shop they would undoubtedly tell me that whoever it was, it would not be related to the 3 page invoice of prior work, therefore no warranty coverage etc. Anyway I told a chance and called British R and ended up speaking to a man named Clint. I told him what was going on, adding that my AAA had run out of service calls for the year and didn't kick back in for a few weeks. He then offered to come out to my home and do a diagnostic, saving me the $200 it was going to cost me to get it towed! Never heard of that happening, have you? Anyway he came, left saying he wanted to think on it and I gave him the invoice mentioned above in case it would help him, he was back a few hours later because he had an idea and within about 30 minutes the car was fixed: the grounding wires cap had become loose, something that would never happen on its own. Meaning, they were not tightened properly. Clint was so gracious and clearly knows his stuff. Coming out on a weekend? That is above and beyond and the fee? Minimal. The car did have to go to the shop so that they could take a more thorough look but it was included in the fee above. Bottom line: look no further for your British (don't know if they do other European ) car care needs. Will not be going anywhere else!

Finding someone to work on the 1967 XKE Roadster I inherited from my father was no easy task. After some frustrating experiences with less than stellar mechanics I arrived at Clint's. He's reliable, completely upfront, trustworthy, very courteous and keeps one of the most sentimental objects in my life purring like a kitten. The entire team's expertise and know how is truly impressive. I've been going to this shop for more than five years and have never been let down. If you own an older British car and require mechanical services, there simply is no one else in the Bay Area who can compete with this business. Thanks so much to the whole team!

Love the team and the work here! Clint is amazing and Olivia is wonderful at keeping you posted on everything. We've taken two Range Rovers and a Mini Cooper here and the work is always top notch and much better (quality and value) than going to a dealership, especially once a warranty expires. Highly recommend going here for service on any British car.

I was looking for a different place to have my car serviced and I wound up taking my 2014 Range Rover to British Car Repair for a check engine light and general service. In short, could not be more pleased with the results. Clint and his team are very professional, knowledgeable and kind. They took great care of me and serviced the car for a fair price. Regarding the check engine light, they took the time to diagnose and test the vehicle in a way to minimize the expense. You can see when you go to their shop, it's evident they're experts in British Cars. This is where I will always take my car in the future

I took my jag to this guy and after spending thousands of dollars on the car it had to be towed away and when I got home I found that the water drain plug was changed to some cheap part . this part I repaired myself and was a beautiful brass piece that was original to this classic Jaguar. I called him on it and of course he denied stealing it . And just recently I was working on the carbs an drealized my beautiful su carbs that I rebuilt where off some other car . what the#@#$%%%@#. This guy is a thief Talk about buyer beware.

I chose British Car Repairs for my Rover based on reviews here and was not disappointed. Clint is a straight shooter and took the time to help me understand the systems and the work to be done. The prices are fair, and they stand behind the work. Can't imagine going anyplace else. Everyone at the shop is an absolute delight.

Recently moved to the area and chose this shop for maintenance on my Defender 90. They diagnosed and repaired a long running problem. We also had some tail light problems that a simple bulb replacement did not fix. After I obtained the necessary part, Clint installed it for free (I tried to do it myself, but did not succeed). I am very impressed with their knowledge, integrity, and commitment to service. No wonder the shop is full of 70 year old British motor car gems being kept on the road!

Keeping a 1970 Jaguar E-Type in good working order is no easy task, but luckily my husband and I found British Car Repair - thank goodness! We had a few subpar mechanics prior to Clint and we were worried that maintaining our E-Type might be more than we could handle. For nine years, Clint kept our Jaguar purring. She ran beautifully under his brilliant care, and NEVER BROKE DOWN - she was the most reliable car we owned. Clint is extremely knowledgeable, an excellent mechanic and is very honest. We recently sold our E-Type, partly because we moved out of state and couldn't find a mechanic even close to Clint's expertise. Thank you for all of the years of great service Clint and also to Olivia and Karen who were always super helpful and friendly!

My 88 D90 was making some abnormal noises (squeaks and metallic rattles) which were worrying me. After speaking with the people at British Car Repairs I was able to set up a diagnostic appointment with Clint where we went on a test drive to recreate the noises followed by putting my truck on the rack to take a look underneath. Clint was able to quickly pinpoint the areas of concern along with a quote for parts and labor to get me back on the road. Everyone at the shop made the entire process seamless around with a fast turn around. Very happy with the work that Clint performed and would highly recommend this shop if you're in need of work on your British automobile(s).

Cannot say enough good things about Clint and the entire team at BCR. They are fantastic to work with, know their stuff inside out, and are true classic car enthusiasts. I feel lucky to have them to turn to when help is needed on my '58 MGA and I look forward to some day availing myself of their expertise on a vintage Jag.
