Boomer and I barely had to wait in the waiting room because we were taken to the examination room almost immediately after checking in at the front desk.. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. Dr. Schoengart presented all information relevant to Boomer's care after examining him which allowed me to make an educated decision on Boomer's care and testing. I strongly believe that not only is Dr. Schoengart awesome, I trust her with Boomer's life.

Dr. Schoengart has been very attentive to the needs of our rescue dog, Ozzie. She is careful and caring. The staff is friendly and we always feel welcome. The business has one flaw that I've noticed: sometimes the person who answers the phone (no names!) can sound overwrought and overwhelmed and can make me feel like I'm bothering them by calling! This is just a phone problem and does not reflect the Vet service, which is excellent, but it should be remedied. It's very off-putting. Other than that, we have no complaints about the care at Marin Pet Hospital. They are good, kind humans who really love animals.

We have been clients at Marin Pet Hospital for about 4 years. Our pug Jodi is a sensitive and nervous pup and has always been treated with patience and kindness by all of the staff. They are competent, friendly, and very professional. We have gotten referrals to the best specialists when necessary and have had nothing but great experiences at Marin Pet Hospital

So disappointed. Our fuzzy family members have been tossed from one veterinarian to another after lousy employees got Dr. Galvin shut down (a real Dr. Doolittle) in 2009. Another Vet we were seeing by Pet Arcade sold the practice while we were there, along with our pet's medical records without our knowledge or permission (CA Vet board violation). -Dr. Shoengard and Dr. Barboni have been saving the lives our our family members for nearly a decade, but today we need to say goodbye. I called in as our elderly cat is suffering from a wheezing cough. The assistant on the phone asked if they'd seen this cat before. As she hadn't been sick the answer was "no". I was advised that they couldn't see our feline friend as they were booked today and that was the end of the conversation.I had no idea that they'd also sold out. I did meet with the newest Veterinarian 3 months ago and the experience was not encouraging as she was clearly not comfortable around large dogs (Old English Mastiff).We love you, we'll miss you but we can't afford to let our animals die because of your horrible staff.

Only giving them 2 stars because of a few of the folks that still work there. After they were bought out they have jacked the prices way up.

This place deserves NO stars. Fortunately they aren't currently taking new patients which is a good thing, as I've never spoken to anyone as rude and inhumane as the woman I spoke with on the phone earlier today. If you want your puppy or kitty to go see Miss Trunchbull, this is likely the place for you. People like her should NOT be in this industry.

Our go-to place for both our cats. They take the time to explain what is happening, and answer all our questions. They have accommodated same day appointments, and respond well over the phone to see if coming in is necessary.

I can not say enough good things about this vet. I've been taking my pets (cat and dog) here for years and have had great care. Dr. Schoengart is wonderful with pets and their owners. The staff is also wonderful, very caring and organized. Both cat and dog have had difficult medical issues and I feel very comfortable with the care that they have received.

Just took my dog here for the first time and I absolutely love this place. We have been to 2 other vets in Marin and I will never go anywhere else.

We have been their clients for over 10 years. Always satisfied. Recently, the founding owner retired. We were worried about what would happen. They now have 2 wonderful younger Vets; Joan and Aaron, GREAT.Come check them out.
