The reviews aren’t wrong, they’re very nice. But they are not fast. It was a Monday, and nowhere else had an appointment until Thursday. These guys had a Tuesday morning appointment and verified over the phone they’d look at it same day, so I made the annoying trek to San Rafael first thing in the morning. Well, when I got no word from them until Wednesday afternoon I gave them a call. “Oh he’s just looking at it right now, call back in an hour” they say. Infuriating regardless, but I got the sense if I hadn’t called they wouldn’t have even looked at it on Wednesday. The repair process moved at as leisurely a pace as the diagnostic process, with me always just happening to call right as they were finally starting to work on it after sitting on their hands for hours to days. There were some delays that weren’t their fault such as waiting for a part to come in, which I don’t hold against them, but their lack of communication or expediency outside of this was incredibly frustrating and massively inconvenienced me. I’d bet money if I had just waited until the Thursday appointment at another shop my car would have been done sooner.

Great Guys, Great service and very reasonable, I have been going to Marin Car clinic for more than 20 years. I just did my smog and brakes for my Van and they took care of it in a couple of hours and their rate was super reasonable. Highly highly trustworthy and reasonable.Services: Auto brake repair

I have been using Marin Car Clinic for more than 30 years now. They are awesome people, competent, and very trustworthy. they have done all my smogs through the years. All the break replacements, any engine issues, etc ....... They are very reasonable and always finish the job on time.

The experience and knowledge you receive from the team are second to none. I have them handle all maintenance and repairs. They are very trustworthy, have no up-selling, and, more importantly, they also do custom modifications and upgrades on all my cars. They are very fair when it comes to pricing, and they stand behind the work.

There's thieves criminals and crooks these guys check every box they'll do work on your car and then pull other wires and have you coming back for the rest of your life.
