The bocce courts here are the bomb! Though there are plenty of leagues, joining is recommended, as lessons are free.

Rude people there. We walked in, nobody greeted us. The sign on the entrance says something about leagues and open times but NOT that it costs $$ to play. We walked in, were not greeted at all, used the restroom, still nobody talked to us. I saw two open courts that were not in use and asked my partner if he wanted to play. There was nobody waiting to play; all players were involved in other games on other courts. We started our game; a minute later, a man came bounding up to us, saying, "we're closed!" (because of a tournament). I said, "awww, can we just have 5 minutes?" he got very rude and said, NO and that we'd have to leave, and started to follow us out, like were trying to shoplift and he was the security guard. Very unfriendly place and we will never go back. Other Bocce Ball courts are FREE and folks are FRIENDLY. This was just bizarre treatment. SMH, San Rafael, do better.

Great place to play some bocce. Nice people to explain the game if you don't know how to play or it's been a while. They have 8 outdoor courts and 2 inside.

My husband and I have had a half a dozen birthday bocce parties there! We love this amazing Bocce Center!The grounds are pristine, the BBQ's are ready for grilling, the picnic tables and the Bocce courts all make the perfect afternoon soirée.The customer service has always been spot on. They have alway returned my calls and booked my events.

Newly resurfaced courts for the Spring is a nice treat! Dress in layers for the evening leagues and have fun.

We love this place. It’s been wonderful for socializing and getting a little exercise out in the fresh air. I regularly rave about the staff and the facility. All local businesses and nonprofits should consider teambuilding excursions at the club. I brought in a group of top administrators from the county government and they had a blast. I encourage all club members to evangelize on behalf of MBF.
