Kind and engaged students, excellent faculty, thoughtful administration, rigorous and progressive academics, beautiful open campus, strong financial aid and friendly relatively down-to-earth family community. Our creative social daughter loved MA -- she just started college out east and says MA prepared her well -- and our scientific geeky sophomore son thrived right from the start. The kids, faculty/administration and parents get along well -- very collaborative, no competitive vibes. Highly recommended.

Marin Academy has been an outstanding high school for my two kids. They have impressive and caring teachers and administrators who go above and beyond, terrific performing and visual arts, and great athletic programs. Academics are rigorous but without a competitive atmosphere. Students are collaborative, hard-working, and are happy and supportive of one another. The students are prepared for college and to thrive in the real world.

MA is a great college prep school in the Bay Area! Great location near downtown San Rafael! Amazing school grounds and facilities! Excellent teachers who have a love of learning and want to share these passion with students! Great sports and a NEW AQUATIC CENTER has been built! Truly has a school campus feel in an urban environment! You student will be equipped for that next stage in school!

Ma is a pretty good school and you should definitely look at yelp reviews to decide what high school you're going to.

I graduated from Marin Academy; and, my four years at MA were wonderful. I highly recommend the school. I graduated from Hamlin, then went to MA. It's an accepting community which always made me feel at home. When I got to college at UCSD, I was much better prepared than most of my peers. Thank you MA!
