Customer service is #1! Finally moving out of the city and somehow attaining a backyard, my hunt for a new grill led me to Jackson’s as they are one of the few distributors of the brand I was interested in. From the moment I spoke to an associate on the phone, I knew I was working with qualified and passionate people. Chris was super knowledgeable and validated (as well as expanded) much of the prior research I had done online. Not pushy, yet professional and (again) passionate. My timing was fortunate as it lined up closely with their big annual sale. Since it was shaping up to be a larger purchase, they scheduled an early sale private shopping session for me before the official sale started. Chris made the extra effort to be there during my shopping session and continued to be a huge help. I look forward to having Jackson’s as my go-to hardware store. If you value customer service, you should make them yours as well.

Employee owned business. Fantastic selection. Maybe not always the cheapest place, but honestly it's so worth it just to be able to see exactly what you want before you buy. Especially of note; - Chainsaw servicing - They have tons of toilets arranged so you can see exactly how they look in your home. Outstanding. I refuse to go anywhere else. Having Chris the supervisor's help was THE most charismatic engaging all around incredible experience I've had so far in 2024 (I even asked for his card so we could connect outside of work). Chris embodies the perfect exact definition of THE person you want to ask for help with at ANY store. He took time to hear my situation & put my needs ahead of his to further understand the best possible solution for me. An honorable father. Every time I come here everyone is super friendly and helpful. This is probably the best hardware store in the North Bay (at least), in terms of size (huge!) selection and outstanding service.

Jackson's is an amazing hardware store with a huge selection. Unless you go often, snag a friendly employee to help you find your way to what you are looking for. We went for a door knob, but stayed to shop hats and rain gear, faucets and floor mats. We were very happy to find exactly what we needed.

I have NEVER seen or experienced a better hardware store. Service is above and beyond. Items offered is leagues beyond any Ace hardware store I've ever encountered. 50 years ago there were hardware stores with the service and often a broad selection of related products, but nothing on the scale of Jackson's. If they don't have it, they will try to find it and special order it if possible. Employee owned. Exceptional.

When we found Jackson’s we have come here ever since. Barbara is the best and always so helpful! Wouldn’t go anywhere else, this team is top notch when it comes to service and quality +their selection is everything you could possible need!!!

A great store with friendly knowledgeable people. I like the fact that it's employee owned. Many of the employees have been there a long time. Great selection and lots of hard to find things that you don't get at home cheapo. They are a little bit more expensive, but not by a lot. It's a great local option to have and I continue to support them.

Hands-down this is the best hardware store in Marin. But they have actually helpful knowledgeable staff. Best quality tools and equipment. If you don't want to forearm do you want what you want he want quality or you want serious good old fashion service and not be hunting for an orange rope forever yeah this is the spot don't waste your time just go to Jackson's

Since I visit almost daily (every time my contractor discovers something they neglected to order for my remodel) I feel I can say Jackson's is a pleasure to deal with. Mostly well-trained staff (employee owners) and great selection. Not the cheapest but service makes up for it.
