“My fiancé and I LOVED visiting the store in San Rafael! We live in SF and frequently look online, but this was the first time we visited a store in-person. I was like a kid in a candy shop - it was beautiful and so well designed! I want to give a special shoutout to Cedric for going above and beyond! He gave us a proper tour of the store, provided excellent advice for designing our new apartment, and helped us purchase two more kitchen chairs that matched our other Scandinavian Designs chairs at home. “I needed to replace welting on some slipcovers and was told that it would take 2 weeks, which was fine with me. Well, I got an email 3 days later saying that it was ready! They did a perfect job and the price was quite reasonable. Furthermore, they did more on the slipcovers than I had asked for and did not even increase the quoted price. They obviously saw what would be an improvement and just did it! I will bring any upholstery job to them in the future. It is such a pleasure to work with a business that provides both quality and value for their work and really cares about the service they provide!”

“Our sofa didn't come out quite right (design, not workmanship), but Chris made us a spot-on replacement in a week and had a team swap it out on his nickel. That's even more telling than a good review of a routine transaction. Great place for sofas and sectionals exactly as you want them.”

“Local gem. It’s hard to find non-big box furniture stores in the Bay Area. I love going to Sunrise for quality and made in the US furniture. They have so many ordering options beyond what’s on the sales floor. If you’re in need for new furniture or even small decor upgrades, I highly recommend you book time with one of the designers. Bonus: they always have fun treats”
