When my hotel lost my reservation and I had to stay here, I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, clean room, and not too far away from where I needed to be. Thank you four points!

I stay here every time I come out for work. We love Jose and is the reason we choose to stay here. This last trip was no different his service was the absolute best. However I do have an issue with the hotel they have now chosen to choose the bar at 9! This is so stupid and will cute Jose income. We always stay till closing. As long as Jose is here I will continue to stay here but am really disappointed they have chosen to close early.
Food and drinks: Jose is the best bar tender I've ever had! He's the whole reason I stay here.

The rooms are very small and DATED. The air conditioner is so loud you have to turn the TV up or stop talking if you are speaking.
Lack of security in the parking lot out back. Last night there was a man with a metal bat, swinging it and a young blonde girl sitting in the car smoking and listening to a BOOMBOX at full volume. It was 11:47pm. I saw him earlier in the day in the parking lot with two other LARGE men.
I will not return.
There are many fake reviews on this hotel, BEWARE.
Rooms: Small. DATED. Beat up.
Nearby activities: Located in a good spot.
Safety: Saw zero security and definitely netharious activities going on here!
Food and drinks: Do not get the crab things unless you like grease.

Quick family stop for an appointment in San Francisco. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bathrooms are very well stocked. The front desk ladies were very friendly upon check in.
Food and drinks: Jose made my husband the best whiskey sour he’s ever had!

I had dinner at the Hillside Tavern and had excellent service by Jose! He is always friendly, prompt and delivers! I love coming here and getting deliscious food and lovely seevice.

Location and service was great. Property was great but the rooms are a bit dated and not well kept. A lot of the furniture in the room was chipped and scratched.

LOVE this place! We visit the area regularly and this is our go to stay because of Jose Luis. He is hospitable and takes care of us welcoming us with a friendly hello. We tried the AC hotel in San rafael once and were so disappointed the customer service was slacking, rooms were nice but won’t be staying there again. We will continue to come to here, bed is comfy, staff is nice and they care about the customers. Thank Jose!

I really liked this place. The rooms are functional and clean. The AC works well. They seem to use a milder cleaner and so you're not blasted with bleach smells when you arrive. The front desk was really helpful.
I want to say a special shout-out to two folks who helped me, Christian and I think his name is Benji? the bartender at the restaurant. I'm disabled and my last night there I was on my own. They don't really have room service but with the help of these two fine people they made an exception for me and delivered a meal to my door.
That said one of my main requests is that it would be really great if they did have room service. Also the restaurant menu is out of date and the hours for food service aren't great. Other than that it's a great little spot and I hope to stay there again!

Jose Luis provided outstanding bar service and made a mean manhattan! Rolando was very attentive and brought out the food very quickly comma a great experience for a four point!

The following staff are extraordinary employees and represent the best in service, attitude, and eagerness: Simon and Paula at the desk; Jose in the bar and restaurant; and Glenn for his kind help loading my luggage since I'm handicapped. Each happily goes about helping travellers.
Simon is the hero handling a complicated reservatraveller's.
Each is a keep.
