I was dealing with a small job but challenging color matching project, and after numerous trips to no less than 3 paint stores, I finally resolved the problem with help from Shan Damani at Dunn Edwards in San Rafael. He went above and beyond to get me the perfect color and since we discovered we were almost neighbors, he even delivered my gallon of paint to me. Service like this is rare these days. Rarely do I post reviews, but I had to say something about this store and their awesome manager, Shan.

I just bought some paint at Dunn Edwards in San Rafeal. I was so impressed with their customer service. Shan, the manager , was so helpful and knowledgeable . In this day and age it is so refreshing to receive professional service. Oz was also helpful.

We have been buying paint at this store on and off for years and have never had any issues. Last weekend, we re-ordered paint to do touch up work at our home and when we got home, the color was quite a bit lighter! We drove back to San Rafael and their color matching guy had gone for the day. They asked us to leave the cans of paint and Sean offered to drop the cans at our home in Novato on his way home on Monday. Sean delivered as promised and the paint was mixed to the correct color. My husband was happy the color matched! Needless to say, we were impressed by the service we received from Sean and the San Rafael store and will definitely recommend them.

Staff seem a little standoffish. They do have some very good quality products and love their Evershield and Spartashield acrylic paints, these paints will last well over 10 years.

Nice paint store...paint can be expensive but it's worth it....but I'm afraid is kind of store that's going out of business as other stores offer cheaper prices but hopefully not...been there a long time

I'm sitting in their parking lot as I just walked out with a FREE box of the N95 respirators!!! A box of 10 and was told to come back if I needed more!! Thank you so much for helping your community in dealing with the very unhealthy smoke conditions due to the Camp Fire.

Large building, serious organization. This is a real professionals store. There color palette is very impressive. Megan is awesome. She helped us pick not only the color but the shade of the color. We were able to see the color we wanted in the shade we wanted after she mixed it and we took it home and visualized it on our walls. Would highly recommend this company!

I came here the other day for face masks, because I was heading up to the fire in Santa Rosa. I appreciated the service I received here. The lady was very kind to me when I walked in, and was able to help me to find the right mask that I needed. I told her I was going up to the fire area, and then I tried to pay for the masks. She told me not to worry about paying for the masks, because she knew that what I was doing was for a good cause. In a time, where not only my house burned down, but so many other families houses have burned down. For the community, and this local paint store to help out with supplies. I was truly thankful for the service that I received here. Although I do not live in this area, I would totally recommend this store, because of the service that I received. Thank you so much Dunn Edwards!!!
